OK girls, what do you think....

I got in on the Victoria's Secret sweater special a couple of weeks ago. Got a sweater, the free scarf, free lip gloss and $5 off. My total order was $17.xx.

I got my package yesterday, but it is not my items, at all! In the bag was my receipt that showed my toal and what I purchased, but there was a zip up hoodie, pajama set and flannel pj bottoms and t-shirt to go with them.

So I know they charged my card the right amount, but totally sent the wrong items.

I know the right thing to do is send the items back. But I am also thinking that they messed up and maybe I should just keep the stuff. Please don't think bad of me for saying this!

Today is the first day since we came home from vacation (October 7th!) that I have signed up for free samples. At least 3 days each week I get free samples...still!! I think that when you get on the mailing list for different companies they keep you on thier list and send out new product samples?? I have received about 5 sample sets from post it products! The sonicare sanitizer came. I too received the Merci chocolates, I totally forgot about that one! I can't even remember who I nominated for the contest. The best freebie was a 1 ounce bottle of Beautiful Love perfume by Estee Lauder, I think it was a fluke because it came to my address but had a different name on it, so I tried to look up the name in the phone book so I could give it to it's rightful owner, but there was no listing for that name. It came bulk mail from California? On another note, when I tried clicking on links today to get the Walmart freebies, every single time it popped up, a "sorry we are out" message? Are they blocking us freaps??

Yesterday while I was shelving books at my kids' school library, the librarian called me over and showed me the Jane Brett book she recevied in the mail!...

Oh, and when we got home my entire front porch was loaded with mail and packages and boxes! Now THAT was exciting! I can't even begin to list all the freebies, but the two things that stand out are.... ANOTHER sleeping bag from Malboro! I only called in once, but now I have a set! Weird, but AWESOME! And my son and I got a Thank You card from his librarian for the Jan Brett book! She gushed and raved over how thoughtful that was and said she would save it so that he could be the first one to check it out! Then yesterday all the teachers in the school kept stopping my son and thanking him! He now realizes that this freaping thing is kindof cool!

I am so glad to hear the books are getting to our libraries! What fun!!

I agree. they might think that it would cost them more to have you return ship them, which you should NOT be expected to pay for, and you still need to get the things you ordered. I wouldn't judge you for keeping them, they sent them..their mistake, why should you pay to return them???

I enjoyed helping. It ended up feeling like a scavenger hunt...fun and a bit thrilling to hurry and get in there before the rest of the internet could get them all! I am grateful and glad hadleysun shared with us what she had found.

OMG - I thought I was obsessed with my teeth before...

I got the sonicare toothbrush from bzzz and I LOVE it It is my new best friend I am running the 3 minute clean cycle twice it's so much fun, took a little getting used to - kinda tickled ... DH is jealous so I am getting him an extra brush head for his xmas stocking -

My teeth feel so clean afterwards that I don't want to eat (which is a really good thing 'cause I need to lose about 65 pds )

Maybe they should market it as a diet aid

Oh, remember the Macy's registry? I got a very nifty (who still says nifty ) tray from Lenox yesterday.

DH drove our DFs to the airport at 5 am this morning for the Disney Trip We should have been there with them (and Madd)...Instead I planted the remaining 450 bulbs in the garden before the ground freezes

I posted this on the freebie site but wanted to post here also. Thanks for all the great freebies that you girls and guys post. I wish I could find more to post but I am keeping my eyes open for all my new friends. Okay now from DH he wants to thank whoever posted the freebie for the rug squares. He told DD that if she could get enough of them he would do the floor of the coomon room of her dorm. Well she enlisted the help of every one in her dorm all six floors. The staff and everyone we know. She even had my co workers do it. So with everyone getting about 4 boxes each (I was shocked they let us get that many) He now has to do the floor. I told never put a female to a challange of freebies you will lose Well at least I know what he is doing this weekend

That is unbelievable!!! I know I plan to use my 6 and maybe my sisters 6 for something for the kitty but to get enough to do a whole room took coordinating a lot of people quickly to be able to get enough of that freebie! Poor hubby will need some nice refreshments

That is SOOOO nice! I did not realize the books were going to be autographed! I better check with the school I signed up and see if they got anything. My kids don't go there any more so I don't have daily contact with them.

Well...Disney online once sent me the wrong pj's and when I called them about it they said to "keep them and give them to someone in need" and then they sent me the right ones too. And we know Disney is not exactly in the business of giving stuff away (well, except for the Year of a Million Dreams stuff ) Good luck if you do decide to call them.

I received the sonicare as well. My teeth have never felt so clean. I agree it makes you not want to get them dirty again.

I am glad you found it. I don't use the DISboards search any more...I use Google. I will put in ~ disboards Office Depot codes ~ or whatever I am looking for and it usually comes up.
