FP+ ?

We are a family of 5 going over Thanksgiving. My youngest son is 8 and he and I are going down 3 day before my husband and girls. My question, would we be able to use their bands in the park for FP+ without using their park days. My son is special needs and I always have to work on the fluidity of vacation, just exploring options. I do know about special needs cards and we will get one, but I really try to limit our use of those if possible

You can use their MBs for same-day FP+.

I believe how the DAS works is that you bring your DAS card to the attraction (or a DAS kiosk nearby?) and they give you a return time that is based on the current standby wait time. When you come back, you show your card, and you enter via the FP line. The DAS card itself is not a FP, nor does it give you extra FPs at all. The disABILITIES board has more information on exactly how this works.
