So we'll have two days at MK. 8 & 5 years old, one with SPD and one with ASD. Typically not big on roller coasters, so I doubt they'll do Splash Mountain or Space Mountain. They can handle some dark rides, as long as they're not too loud, and definitely not scary ones. We're traveling end of June, so it's going to be busy (crowd rating 8 both days). We will have our FP+, and our DAC, so advise on how to best maximize our FP would be great, too.

Our plan is this: Day 1: We plan to be there from rope drop to 5, lunch in park. We have Pirates League at 9:10, and plan to watch the parade from that area. We need a couple "down time" things planned in as well for the day, so suggestions for shows etc...

Day 2: We plan to be there from 9-1, go back to our rental house have lunch, rest etc... and back to the park for our BBB at 5:00. Then we have dinner at CRT at 6:50. We plan on watching the MSEP at 9:00, and we'll probably stay till 10:00.

So really looking for input as how to best plan our days, given areas we need to be in for bookings, also ways to maximize indoor rides etc... during the heat of the afternoon etc... ways to sit down, have a break (shows) etc...

Our really want to dos by area:

Frontierland: WDW Railroad, Tom Sawyer Island, Toy Story Meet n Greet - Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mtn are maybes , it really depends on their mood that day on whether or not they'll do them. Splash Mountain my son definitely won't, but my daughter might.

Adventureland: Treasures of the Seven Seas (they will want to do the treasure hunt), Pirates of the Caribbean, Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, Swiss Family Treehouse, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirate Tutorial, Alladin Meet n Greet

Fantasyland: Journey of the Little Mermaid, It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Prince Charming Carousel, Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarfs, Mad Tea Party, Enchanted Tales, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Anna and Elsa meet and greet (this is an insanely huge MUST do for DD), Ariel meet and greet. I'm thinking the Splash n Soak would be a nice little break, place to cool off in the heat of the day?

Tomorrowland: Speedway, Space Ranger Spin, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Astro Orbiter, Carousel of Progress, Incredibles Dance Party. I don't really care if we do People Mover or not, but maybe it would be a nice sit-down, out of sun break?

Main Street area: Move It! Shake It! Dance Party (my kids both love dancing and music and love live shows), Mickey Meet & Greet, Tinker Bell Meet & Greet, Dream Along with Mickey.

I'm guessing that the smart thing to do would be to stick to Frontierland, Adventureland and part of Fantasyland (the stuff closer to these two areas) on Day 1 since we're going to be on that side for the Pirates League and parade, and then focus on Fantasyland and Tomorrowland the second day? With probably Tomorrowland in the morning and the rest of Fantasyland in the evening?

Also, the meet and greets that I've listed, if we have a chance to meet the same characters at another park (we'll also be doing AK and HS), then we're fine with doing those there. They don't have to be at MK, they're just ones that the kids will want to meet.

My FP suggestions can be found in the green link in my signature.

Definitely useMesaoy's link for guidance on good choices for fastpass. I agree with your notion of doing the Adventureland/Frontierland side one day with a little fantasyland and tomorrowland/fantasyland the next day.

I'd do Contry Bears, Tiki, Mickey's Philharmagic after you've been riding rides for a bit and want to sit in the shade for a break.

In tomorrowland, people mover is usually a good way to sit, shaded and usually negligible wait.

Kennythepirate.com is a good source for character meet info - to see if you can meet your fave characters in other parks. Ana and Elsa are only MK for now, and I think Tink too. i think Mickey can be found in both AK and Epcot.

Looks to me like you've got a good general plan going. The cheat Sheets at easywdw.com can also give you an outline of how to hit up MK in a two day visit (he'll list a plan for one side, then the other like you're thinking already and give suggestions what order to hit the riddles, which you can tweak for your interests and times of day)

I would FP+
Anna and Elsa
Peter Pan
7DMR
Enchanted Tales
Journey of LM
and their next favorite meet and greet character

It is hard to give you good times without knowing what your ADRs are or preferred meal times in general. Also with June being a high crowd time of year I'm not sure you'll be able to get everything done on your list. My understanding of the DAC is that you still have to wait for the ride just not in line. I would do the scavenger hunts during your wait periods between rides.

Your idea of doing Frontierland & Adventureland and maybe some Fantasyland one day and Tommorrowland & Fantasyland the other day makes a lot of sense.

Frontierland/Adventureland day:
FP+ = Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder
Rope Drop = Peter Pan, Dumbo, Tea Party, Winnie the Pooh and stay in Fantasyland until the waits are longer
rest/indoor cool off spots = Country Bear Jamborree, Tiki room, railroad
You can meet Aladdin @ Epcot but sounds like you're not doing that park.

Fantasyland/Tomorowland:
FP+ Anna&Elsa meet and greet, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Enchanted Tales with Belle
Rope Drop = Seven Dwarfs, then the rest of Fantasyland rides you missed on the other day
rest/indoor cool off spots = PhilharMagic, Splash&Soak, Carousel of Progress, People Mover, Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor
I'd meet Mickey&Minnie @ Animal Kingdom in their Safari gear with a FP+

If the kids decide they don't want to do Big Thunder you can switch that FP+ that day to something else.

Okay, newbie question: what does ADR mean? :)

As for the DAC, yes, that's the gist of it more or less:

If a ride's wait time is less than ten minutes, you just show your DAS Card and head through the Fastpass queue or an alternate entrance, depending on the ride. If the wait time is more than ten minutes, you get a return time that is 10 minutes less than the current wait time. So if the current wait time is 40 minutes, you'll get a return time for 30 minutes later. So, the downside is for shorter wait times... you're basically walking around. But if it's a longer wait time - 45 minutes, an hour, 2 hours etc... then you can take in a show, another ride etc...
