Just curious - What is the benefit to getting FP+ to shows like Indiana Jones and Beauty and the Beast? I've never had a hard time getting into the shows. Sure, we may have had to sit in the back, but thats not a big deal to me. Do you get priority seating up close if you get FP+ to them??

TIA

2 words - high capacity. To ensure there will be something at DHS for guests to use their fastpasses on. Not necessarily because it's needed.

"Gee, sorry Mr. Griswold--I know your family would've loved to get FastPass+ for Toy Story Mania and RocknRoller Coaster. So sorry the tiering 'feature' prevented you from doing that. But don't worry--you can still get FastPass+ for lots of other great attractions. Like Indiana Jones--has your family experienced that yet? Why, there just happens to be FastPass+ available for that. And Muppetvision, too--you can experience that with FastPass+! Isn't that great? Have a magical FastPass+ day, sir!"

Yesterday we used a FP+ on The Festival of the Lion King in Animal Kingdom and enjoyed our seats right up front for an amazing show. My brother who is a Disney veteran asked me the same question as to why I would use a FP+ on a show. I used it because our littlest one was too small for many other attractions and we rode Everest plenty of times standby so we just rescheduled it for something she could do. He tried to go to the 1PM show as standby and did not make it into the show due to capacity. We also seen capacity reached at the Finding Nemo musical yesterday in the AK but we did make it in that one as standby because we were in line early enough. FP+ basically can guarantee you a better seat and even a seat at all. My wife and daughter used FP+ for the Little Mermaid show in HS and were in the very front and center for that one. Me and my son were standby and were in the back.

haha very true :) just back, we used it on IJ b/c we already went on the GMR our first day didn't need to do it again, and what else was there lol... It was nice to just walk up and by pass the stand by line.. we also got our 4th fp one day for BatB, again what else is there lol.. nice to not have to wait in any line just walk in and sit down.

The tiering feature is awful at both parks!
