It is..there are several places on the website where they say this, here are a couple.

As I said, it's up to Disney whether they enforce their rules, but regardless of what my or anyone's opinion of it is, they do have rules against it. What I would want people to know, is you can do it. As of today, it works. But should Disney decide to start enforcing their policy, it's not a new change in rules. They've always been there, they're just ignored at the moment and no one can say if or when that will change.

You're harshing my buzz. :)

OP - Yes, I believe you can do what you're describing.

And if anyone wants to know how I split up my FPs to help out my daughter and husband, just let me know. I actually color-coded our FP itinerary so we'd know which bands to use at which rides. Despite that, we mixed them up one time, and my daughter had to run over to to get my band ... all the while, the CM is waving at me as he knows exactly what's going on.

BTW - I got the idea to "give" my FPs to them from these boards. Since I wasn't going to ride, I had actually thought about buying an extra ticket so that each of them (husband and daughter) would have 3 extra FPs. Once a kind poster showed me how to split mine up, I didn't really feel the need to do that anymore. Now that's what I call a good tip.

Your situation seems a little different because you paid for three people to enter the parks. The OP wants to pay for two people to enter the park, but use the FPs for four people.

True, but again, all they can get is same day FPs, unless they have tickets linked to the other people. I don't mean it's not an advantage, because it is (and some people really seem to like the advantage), but I don't see it as a big one. As I said, we didn't even book a 4th FP because we just didn't need it. I have bands from our last trip that I was thinking of taking on the next trip - just to book same day FPs - but I bet we won't need or use them.

Now, pre-booking FPs for the extra people and then using them would be a huge advantage, I think. But to do that, there have to be unused ticket media associated with the "phantom people". I don't think most are able to do this.

The thing I find funny about this thread and many others similar to it, is how all the anti FP- people cheered and said it is about time they figure out a way to make the system equal for all. But now there are ways around this system just like there were ways around the old system. No matter what people will figure out a way to *cheat* the system. I put cheat in * because I don't really know or care if it is actually cheating or not, I just know it is no better than FP- and stopping people from figuring ways around the system.
