FP booking order

Getting closer to our FP booking date!
In what order would you book these popular FP?

FOP: 60+3
SDMT: 60+4
SDD: 60+5 and 60+6

I’m guessing I should go for FOP first since it’s earliest. But then what would you do?

It's better to try for the FP at the END of your trip first, then work your way back. You have a better chance of getting what you want that day.

Remember that everyone who started their 5/6/7 day vacation before you was able to book fastpasses a week ago, that's why starting at the end of your trip improves your chances of getting the harder FP's - you are a week ahead of the people who start their vacation as yours is ending.

Then just keep checking back (as plans change, fastpasses get dropped) - around the 30 day mark, and then periodically between then and the day you're in the parks. There are some folks who have a lot of luck getting FP on the same day, just by continually checking and refreshing the app while they're in the park.

Based on my booking experience for over Christmas week with a somewhat similar set up, I actually went in for SDD first because I wanted a morning time. I would do your first SDD first, then FOP, then SDD again, then SDMT. FOP isn't as crazy as SDD. SDMT for sure last.

Also, grab the FP that you see, then once you've gotten them all you can go back and try and modify times to better fit your schedule.

Totally! I know we have better chances for FP later in the trip so that’s why I was wondering if we should actually go for the FOP at 60+3 first (it’s our only AK day) because it could be harder to get than the ones at the end, but then again SDD seems to be a tougher than FOP.

I’m a total same day FP/refreshing believer - we’ve gotten some great FP that way!

I would go for FoP first. SDD was actually easy for me to get at 60+3. FoP was all gone when I reached my 60 day window.

You can check The Dibb to see what kind of availability to expect. Maybe check the night before your trip and see if there will be any availability on your days. I just grabbed a FoP FP for our Christmas trip yesterday using this site!

Agree with PP. FoP first.

Then I'd go for SDD before SDMT.

The Dibb currently shows first available SDD as 1/9 and first available FoP as 1/8.

Your order looks right.
If FoP is earlier in the trip, do that first, then SDD.
For us, after those 2 were done, had not problem with getting any other FPs we wanted very close to our idea FP times.
