Fp+ anna/elsa already gone!

Anna, Elsa, and Olaf are seen on the Frozen float in MK's Festival of Fantasy (afternoon) Parade.

(Short video clip HERE.)

that video made me mad. All the people on the other side of the float couldnt even SEE Elsa and Ana as they passed. Hope we wont be those people.

So what do you think the Mine Train FP+ situation is going to be like? :rolleyes1

Thank you:) I'm praying for an Olaf M&G, that would be awesome for DS2!

My window to do FP+ opened up yesterday. I was able to get anna and elsa for June 4th. It was a struggle though. I used one adult to schedule it. After picking a ride I didn't want, I then went to the change fastpass reservation selection. Once in the options of rides/meets I tried to select anna and elsa but the green dot would not show up. In fact it never did, however, I tapped it anyway and then proceeded as if everything was complete and hit the next button. It ended up working and the fastpass reservation shows up. It doesn't always show up on my iPad version of the my disney experience but does on my iPhone version. So I took a screenshot of the fastpass ressie so to have proof when we go.

Actually, that section of the float rotates - you can see it start to rotate at the end of the clip.

I am an offsiter and my 30 days is on Fri but our first day will be HS and MK the next day so I can't do MK selctions until Sat (going on May 5 to MK). I was fooling around to the latest 30 day mark and earlier A&E are showing stanby for every day I picked in April-May. I tried to just do me, then me and 1 kid, all four of us. Nothing.

This is cruddy....was really hoping to get them for my girls.

I made the mistake of telling my 20-year-old cousin about Anna and Elsa at MK. I prefaced it by saying that it was the most difficult FastPass to acquire right now and that lines have been up to seven hours long at Epcot to meet them. I thought she'd be horrified and share my relief that, between the two of us, we really have no need to struggle to get our two minutes with the Frozen ladies.

To my surprise, my "little princess" begged me to meet Anna and Elsa, and even said she was willing to wait in a long line. This is not what I expected her reaction to be! :rotfl2:

Guess I'll be on my computer tomorrow at midnight when our FP+ window opens. Glad for the advice in this thread about booking for one and copying it to the other party member!

there are still some single times slots available for May. Just checked May 2nd and 3rd, and I could get some here and there, so keep checking.. even if its for 1 person, you could still get some

i check several times per day for May 6 and May 9 and nothing.:worried: My 3 year old wants to ask Elsa to marry him:rotfl2: what is the best time of day to do a stand by line?

what is the best time of day to do a stand by line?

Rope drop as soon as the park opens and head straight there. That will be the shortest standby wait of the day. At this time A and E are only supposed to be meeting at Fairytale Hall until 'early evening' (probably 5pm) so the cut off will probably be around 2-3:00pm each day. The line will probably easily be a few hours even with FP+ being available.

Yep. AP and "day guests" are pretty well locked out of FP+ for Anna and Elsa at this time. If you want to use FP+ for them, you've got to book a room and make the selections right at the 60 day mark.

:rotfl2: I remember people being angry at me when I said some attractions could become like the super popular dining reservations were a few years back. Remember Cinderalla's Royal Table and how you had to be on the phone at exactly 180 days at 7 a.m. or you would not get a reservation.

Not necessarily the case. I'm an AP and can only book 30 days out. I currently am holding FP+ for April 20 at 9:15, as well as ones for 4/26 and 4/27 in the morning (a FP+ for me and my husband for each day as our 2 year old doesn't require a FP for entry.) My daughter loves Elsa and we go to the park pretty much every weekend so I just popped online around midnight and secured my passes. I have randomly checked in a few times to possibly modify our times (since my husband and mine are about 15 minutes off time wise with overlap and I was attempting to tweak our times) and I have seen several times in April and May open up for availability ( a 1:15-2:15 for April 20th was available today in fact!)

Keep checking back and try late at night as well. Don't just assume you're shut out. People's plans change and Disney does hold back some passes as well. :thumbsup2

I'm a Disney virgin, so pardon my ignorance.

When booking FP+, if I can only get one person into the attraction, can an adult go to supervise the kid and simply stand back and not meet the characters? I ask b/c my husband and parents probably won't care about meeting Anna and Elsa (other than to get pictures of dd meeting them), but if I were to only get one person to go, it would need to be dd. But I can't let a 5-year-old go in alone. KWIM?

Also, can we transfer certain FP+ to one another. For example, dad has had knee surgery and may not want to use all his. He may likely go back to resort early or just sit around and people watch. If he wants to give dd and dh his fast passes to ride more rides, can this be done?

Again, I'm sorry if these seem like dumb questions. I'm reading some of the posts on these fast passes, and it seems like you need to be a private investigator to schedule the character meals and the fast passes so that it all lines up right.

So tried for E and A fastpasses today for 5/12 and 5/13- no luck!!

I have an 8:05 reservation at Crystal Palace. Im assuming if I get to Fantasyland right when they open the rope I should be at the beginning of the standby line. Correct? Do they usually open the rope at 9?

totally not dumb questions - I am by no means a Disney virgin but this stuff is an entirely new ball game that my traditional FP loving brain can't handle. I would love to know the answers to both of your questions also. hopefully someone here will catch them and reply. if not in the next day or two, repost them in a thread you start. (or I may do it. this stuff is important for planning. I can see myself being in both of your scenarios and I would like to know what to do.)

Each person entering the line needs a FP. I'm sure you can understand that systems that rely on people being honest (as in being honest about whether they are there to see the characters or just supervising the child) tend not to work well these days.

And you wont' have any trouble swapping magic bands and using someone else's FP from your party.

Everyone who wants to get in the FP line needs to have a FP, even for meet and greets. Your dad can give his MB to someone else to let them use his FPs.
