FP+ & Adding Days to Ticket

We currently have 5 day hoppers and have 5 days of FP+ selected. We want to upgrade to a 7 day hopper but having bought tickets from UT and knowing about bridging etc... we are going to do this after entering the park on the first day. So, since Disney will still only recognize 5 days on our tickets, will we be able to make FP+ selections once entering the park or will it boot me out saying I've already selected our max # of days? The two extra day's we are adding are on the front end of our trip.

Is it possible to deal with adding the days inside the park after entering?

You will have to wait until you have the extra days before you can make the FPs. The CM on these boards assures us that it's not necessary to use the ticket first in order to get your correct price and add the days. You can stop at Disney Springs ticketing area and do the add-on then so you're not doing it on your park day if that works for you. Can you re-do your current FPs so that those first few days are covered and then use your newly-added days to do the ones to book your FPs on your last few days of the trip? You may have coveted FPs you don't want to change, but I thought that would at least buy you a couple days' availability to work with.

Interesting, I didn't know that about doing the upgrade prior to using it. I'll have to look into it. We do have a DS day planned right away since we are getting in late on arrival day so that would work for us. Thanks!
