Fourth FP+ Goes Digital April 10

If you want to make fast pass 30 or 60 days early you have to have a ticket linked if you have another magic band that dose not have a ticket Linley to it ( and on a different MDE) you can get FP in the park. On another bard it goes into more detail on how to do this

I was not going into that much detail.
To get a DAS Return Time, you do need to be in the park.

My daughter started to have a tantrum in Epcot last week so my adult son took her back to the room. My husband and I never used any of the three Epcot Fastpasses and the fastpass times had not passed when we hopped to MK.
I was not able to change the Epcot fast passes to MK passes so I cancelled them thinking I could start all over with the three fast passes. Nope. The only thing we could do was get a 4th fastpass at MK for Small World and the not popular rides one at a time. The three fastpasses were gone even though we didn't use them and the time for them did not pass. The CM said that was a problem with the fastpass system.

I thought they were - at least on the MB's. I was told by a CM that this was to prevent people from using Dad's FP+ to ride something twice if Jr. was in park and Dad was back in the room and not planning on coming, especially when one has an AP. But goodness knows I have been given incorrect info on more than one occasion by CM...

You can use someone else's FP+, just like you used to be able to use a FP that your group had, or even some stranger handed you. So the CM was wrong.

MAKING a Fastpass Plus is not linked to park entry. You can make them from home before even being in Orlando.

USING them is linked to park entry I believe.

Nope, we made FP+ in the parks at the kiosk with old bands not tied to our present account. No ticket on them, so no park entry. It's only useful at MK, which has no tiers and plenty of attractions. At other parks, there were few FP+ times to work with.
