Just an FYI for anyone who could use it. We had intended to head back to the resort for naps in the afternoon, but we were all having so much fun we never wanted to leave the parks. Our 2yo was the only one who needed an actual nap (as opposed to a few minutes on a bench with a Mickey bar). So, anyway, at MK on two different days she got in a great nap on a porch near the exit of Splash Mountain.
Walk under the bridge, past the Splash Mtn fast-pass distribution kiosks, past the toddler play area, past an outdoor portion of SM's line on the left, past restrooms on the right. Walk along the wooden porch toward the door to the gift shop that people have to walk through to exit SM. Don't go in the gift shop, but turn left immediately before the door. The porch extends down a little ways, but almost no one walks on it. It's shady and quiet. I think there was even a ceiling fan that kept the air moving. There was a bench to sit on and push the stroller back and forth a couple of times, and dd was out like a light!
The only thing to watch for is the other door to the gift shop at the far end of the porch walkway. Hardly anyone uses it, but it's a good idea to stay a little away from it just in case. Dd2 napped there for a good hour, hour and a half on two separate days while dh and I took turns sitting on the bench next to her, while the other rode SM and BTMRR with dd8.
Hope this helps someone!
