Found a new Dole Whip stand...

Only problem, it's in Minnesota. But I was thrilled to see that I could at least get my fix once a year at our state fair. I don't know how I've missed this booth in the past.

So, now I can get one at the Poly, MK or the MN State Fair. One of these is much closer than the others.

It says it's intended for commercial machines, but there are posts where people have had success using a home Cuisinart softserve maker.

I was at the Minnesota State Fair last year! Really, really fun!

There's also a stand at the Dole Plantation on Oahu. That's another option!

Really? I'm oblivious. We live about 7 miles from this one. Have been 2-3 times, but have missed the Dole Whip stand.

We were just at the MN State Fair this past Saturday (along with about 250,000+ other people) and I saw that Dole Whip stand.

Dole whips are not my thing, but it was fun to see it.

Now the Sweet Martha's cookies - we did buy a bucket. YUM!!

My wife is a Dole Whip fan and she prefers the one in Disney World over the one at the MN State Fair and the one at the Dole Plantation. She said the Dole Plantation was good, but it's not the same. The one she got at the MN State Fair looked kind of sad.

It's on Carnes Ave. right across from the WCCO radio booth and Sweet Martha's. Near the Republican Party booth and just down from Ye Ole Mill. They were having a hard time keeping it frozen, but it was yummy!

I think Ambiance may play into it a little bit
I think they look and taste better in the MK, too!

I was at the Minnesota State Fair last year! Really, really fun!

I know I grew up in western Wisconsin and going to the race the last day of the fair. Now the race is gone but I still make the trek every few years. I even got DW to really like the MN fair, she grew up in the shadow of the WI State fair. I sent people up there when ever I can. Great Fair.

Ooooo! I just told DH that next year we have to go to the State Fair! We've missed the last few years (this past year being that we were at Disneyland, eating the real deal!) but next I hope we make to the Great Minnesota Get Together and try a Dole Whip!
