We are staying at disney for 7 days the first week in december. Usually we go to IOA/US for a day. Last time we went in June and the lines were horrible, obviously summertime. We waited for 2 hours for spiderman :( So my question is. . . is it worth it to stay 1 night at the start of the trip at Universal for FOTL passes or will December be pretty mild compared to June?

It is very unlikely you will need it. In the event that you do, just purchase one there once you get into the park (they are available all over the place). The crowds and parks are very lovely in early December.

Agreed! :thumbsup2

I am looking at adding a trip to uni. during our Christmas trip, I was quoted $730 for one night 2park 7day pass for 4 people. I am thinking it will be worth it for the express pass for on site guests. What are your thoughts? Thanks

If you're going during Christmas time, FOTL will definately be worth it. The lines from December 26 until January 2 are insane.

Thanks for the info, that is what I was thinking. It looks like AAA does not have any discounts during that peak holiday season.:confused3 I ran the numbers by my DH and he gave me the OK:thumbsup2

Is that one night at an onsite hotel?

Remember that one night onsite gets you 2 days with the FOTL pass. Valid the day you check in and the whole day you check out :thumbsup2

Yes, that is a one night stay. If I were to buy the tickets $80 x 4, the express pass $49 x 8.... Same boat. Our trip is 11 days so we will check in early am get tickets so we can take full advantage of those 2 park days with the express pass.:thumbsup2
