I didn't know which thread to put this in, so I apologize if this is wrong.

I just read on FB about this and was super interested because my fiance LOVES archery. I thought it be a cute little surprise for him on our honeymoon. For anyone that has done this, i'm assuming it's totally for beginners, do you think my fiance who is a veteran bowman would think this was dumb? Also i'm guessing it's geared more towards children so i'm wondering if we would look silly doing this. We have some non-park days that I was trying to fill with some other fun activities.

Regardless I think he'd love the fact that i'm doing it with him (something I never do, and stay far away from haha). The price isn't bad I just wanna make sure it's not gonna seem like a waste for us.

My family has done it. 2 adults and one teenager.

We loved it and didn't feel out of place. There were also two younger kids doing the lesson. My husband already had experience. He enjoyed it just because he was with us.

I think it's a great idea. It would give you a chance to learn and I'm guessing your fiance would just have fun with it even though its beginner.

Congratulations and Magical wishes!! :wizard:

How many arrows does each Person get per turn?
(Meaning how many can they shoot before cease fire is called and arrows are retrieved to shoot some more?)

I completely forgot he was in the same group, and he saw the post about it. But I asked him if thats something he'd enjoy and he said he'd just act like it's his first time and when he's doing "so amazing" he'll say it was beginners luck haha. I told him I had our TA look into and it was all booked up (I lied ;)) so I may go ahead and book. I think he'll enjoy it the most just because im involved. Thank you so much!

My husband, daughter and I did this in January and we're going back with friends to do it again (in 3 weeks!!!). We thought it was terrific fun and seemed to be just as enjoyable for experienced bowmen as for beginners.

Here's how it worked when we did it: You and your partner each shoot three arrows into the target, then you go retrieve the arrows and go again (taking turns on who goes to get the arrows). You start closeup to the targets and after a few rounds, you move further back. More rounds, then you move back even further.

We had a ton of fun! I hope y'all enjoy it, too!

For those of you have already done the archery, do you feel reservations are necessary? Was your time slot full?
