His favorite attraction at Epcot??? Beers of the World!!

The BEST of both worlds-- beer and Epcot! Nothings better than a Harp in front of the Great Beers of the World kiosk (I hope they put it back up at F&WF) or a Moosehead while waiting for the Canada movie (I hope they don't mess with that too much). Or for that matter a 1664 in France or a Dos Equis, or a Carlburg........ mmmmmmmm I'm starting to drool..........

Nope... just DBro, DH & Me (oh, and our 2 cats!). DSIL is having to use most of her vacation time caring for her elderly mom. The rest of her VT is spent in NC seeing their oldest DD, DSonIL & 2 GREAT Grandsons!!! I love it when DSIL can come because she helps me ward off the evil tauntings of my DBro!! If you want to see just how evil he is... he started a thread on the FW board asking if anyone has siblings, parents or spouses on the DISboard. Bad picture!!!

You are going to LOVE FW at Halloween!!! Kids actually go trick or treating around the campsite! We were there for Halloween '03 & had a ball watching all the kids! People decorate a lot for halloween - not as much as Christmas - but close!!!

well, we have decied on October. Halloween is the one holiday I have never been at the parks before..So psyched and we plan on decking my mom' camper all out

I just noticed in your siggie you are going to be at FW in Oct 2008.

We booked for Oct 14-21, 2008. When are you going?

The parks won't be as decorated for Halloween as they are at Christmas. In fact, with the exception of MK none of them do anything special for Halloween. The only thing that MK does is for MNSSHP and that is after the park closes. They do have some decorations at the entrance gate, but that's about it.

FW campers do decorate their camp sites and some go all out even if it's just for the weekend.

We'll be at FW from 10/19-10/22/07 so maybe we'll run into you there. We'll be in the 30' Airstream.

Oh, by the way, try to do the Haunted Hay Ride while you're there. It is so worth it, but it fills up fast!

Instead of starting a new thread, figured I just add on to this one, since it is only 2 months old.

A friend of mine on here told me, that last year people staying at Fort Wilderness in campers, were not eligible for the free dining since it is already so cheap to stay here??

Can anyone validate that for me??


Was anyone able to book the bounceback offer for next aug/sept for Free Dining, staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground??

So, I will keep my dates as they are and just go in October 2008

FREE dining no, but, you can do a Magic Your Way package and still get the Dining plan. We are doing this for December. We are staying from the 9th through the 15th and it will cost us about $467.88 ($38.99 per night per person). If we paid full price for the same meals, it would be closer to $900.

The trick is that you have to have the Magic Your Way. We have annual passes. Why would we want to buy a package if we have PAPs? What we (the Boss did anyway) was to by the Length of Stay Magic Your Way with a one day ticket. We get the dining plan for our 6 days, and, we can use the ticket (non-expiring ticket that is) to help pay for the PAP renewal when it comes up. It's a sweet deal and saves money!
