Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Deb, I'm real close to you. You may find me hiding in the luggage somewhere....

Are you kidding - I'm picking you up first! I need someone to keep me awake before Deb delivers the mochas. Do you know how to drive a stick shift?

Have you come up with a game plan for your first time visiting friends?

Happy Easter, everyone.

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all having a great day.:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::hug:

what about you? how are you feeling today?

Thanks for asking. I'm really struggling. I had to "stress dose" as we call it (which is taking an extra dose) with my hydrocortisone to make it though church this morning without passing out. It seems like we can't get my dosages correct. My endocrinologist has been virtually unreachable all week 'cause he's Jewish and doesn't work past sundown during Passover, and after sundown is when he normally does his phone consults for out of town patients. So I'm just hoping and praying I make it through tonight OK. We have 18 people coming over! :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: The food's going to be good, but it's going to be very overwhelming. I'm running out of steam today already. :sad1::sad1::sad1:

If she answers "better" I'm gonna wanna know where my CVDr P is. :snooty:

Um, maybe it's still orbiting the earth? Darn cheap rockets. Never buy from a roadside stand outside NASA. You really get what you pay for... :lmao::rotfl2:

Yesterday was a good day though. My dad let me mow the lawn with his new John Deere riding lawn mower. It's like other people's Zen Meditation or Yoga or whatever. It's heaven to me.

Wow, Tink....you're not even letting poor Honu off for Easter????

And I'll keep praying for you, Honu -- but, surgery or no, I'd be feeling a little puny if 18 folks were coming over to my house too.

I love riding lawn mowers too! My uncle used to let me mow his yard back in the day - not on a John Deere but close enough to suit me [except those pesky hills, I hated driving that thing at what seemed to be a ninety degree angle].

*offering up a john deere and a craftsman to anyone who will cut the back yard!* We have a 9n up north for what I call "deer farming".

Good to see you posting, Honu! I think I was in work/pack/clean mode when you disappeared to the hospital!

Hey, I've missed you -- did you get to go out of town for spring break? How's work by the way? I feel a little responsible about your job since I prayed for it so long....

Good for him for being observant but it's unnerving when you can't reach your doc.
And 18 people?! Are you insane?! :rotfl:
I should have told you not to do that. We might have to make an emergency trip to CA and would drive through Vancouver but wouldn't really have time to stop. Well, I'm sure I could convince DH to stop at Sonic for 5 minutes. :cloud9:
Mowing the lawn is cathartic for me, too. There's nothing like killing and chopping up the environment...wait, I mean...there's nothing like the smell of freshly mown grass bleeding to death...wait...that's not right. Um, it's just therapeutic? :lmao: I really do love the smell of freshly mown grass.

Wow, Tink....you're not even letting poor Honu off for Easter????
Uh...NO. She was supposed to bring me the Dr P months ago. She hasn't shown up yet.

She's a tough taskmaster!

Thanks! Yeah, it was a real zoo. I can't believe how much noise 5 children can make!!!!!!!!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

OMG, I'd die if I could mow all day. I'd be in heaven.

Yes, especially because he apparently went to Florida this week. :confused3 Sigh. I really need to talk to him. I may have to take matters into my own hands and page him.

I didn't invite them... my mom did. :scared1::scared1::scared1: It was crazy!!!!! And loud!!!!!

Hey, if you're in the area and have time to stop, let me know. I can PM you my phone number. There is supposedly a Sonic somewhere around here. Once I can drive again, I'll find it. :magnify:

I'm trying, I'm trying!

Well, it looks like I've got a sinus infection which is accounting for some of my feeling crappy, OK, most of my feeling crappy.

Job is going great, and will continue to until June! *already had to sign my pink slip for the next school year* Yes, I'll take the prayers now that they'll call me back earlier this year! December is MUCH TOO LATE!

We got away for a week to see DH's grandpa who lives in the TN/VA area and luckily were down there when his aunt ended up in the hospital which meant we took care of grandpa for a bit. Our actual vacation was visiting Gatlinburg/PF. It was good to get out of Michigan for awhile.

Still having it, Easter Monday is a public holiday in the UK (and most of Europe)!!

ford family
Most of Michigan used to have Good Friday through to the following full week off of school. They moved most of our vacations up. I just signed a paper that asked to please consider taking one of our other days off and switching it for Easter Monday so people are able to spend time with their families on Easter Sunday, instead of making sure they're home and ready for the new work day.

Hi Everyone! Remember me? :) Looks a little different around here. No need to update me though, I know what's up.

How's it going?
