awww...sweet little fur friends.

we had a VERY short storm today, despite the warning of a 48 hour "big" storm. the one clap of thunder and lightening caused all the kitties to run for cover in the closet. i look in and there are all these sparkling eyes and cute little noses staring out at me. little nutties.

Oh, dear, I hate that when the fur babies get scared. Their hearts go pitter and you know they are thinking, what the heck is that? Aren't you needing the rain, though?

I have about 10 boxes of books and dvds just sitting in the living room. The cats sure enjoy playing on them though!

we are desperate for rain. we already had water restrictions (can water outside three days a week between certain hours), but in certain areas they're cutting back to two days.

when i moved into my house, i filled it almost immediately, and still had bins in the garage i couldn't empty.

i finally went through all the stuff and sorted it into stuff to sell on ebay, xmas decor (tht's most of it), etc. then my family started saying to me, "if you don't take it, i'm getting rid of it", so that just compounded the matter.

oh well...i swear i need a house that's about 50000 sq. ft.

I was at a tea party with my daughter this afternoon. They served brownie smores. they were SO yummy! It was a brownie drizzled in chocolate, then a melted marshmellow, topped with a graham cracker. YUM!

Our problem is that we moved 3,000 miles and sold all of our furniture before coming out here.....and we will probably move again within the next few years. At this point I'm not going to buy living furniture again and then have to sell it! LOL Yes...we have no sofa!!!!
