Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hello. Hope everyone is doing well, and having a great holiday season. I'm so not ready for Christmas. I need another week, minimum!

Also letting y'all know I started my Dining Reviews. Link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2352188 It's going to be slow going with Christmas, and the fact that I'm not on here near as much as I used to be. But look for a new review every other day or so, up until Christmas. Then I'll prob. take a week long break, roughly.

I got what I wanted for Christmas, approval for my second surgery. So I'll be heading to Pelosiville to have that done some time next year. We are doing the big guns surgery and having the adrenal glands removed.

Tink, my little brother fell & hit his head so many times that we used to joke about it! In first grade he hurt himself on the playground and I got pulled out of class (there'd be no one home when I got there.) I think that was the worst. So I've been there Little boys are tough though!

What, is this prophetic?? I am working there!! When I get there on the 27th. Had to change my arrival date and the recruiter didn't pass on the message so DHS trainers have been calling wondering where I am and why I am not at MAMA MELROSE'S!!!!!

And by the way, how was Christmas (am I allowed to say the word Christmas?)? We got a Wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooo excited. I have wanted one for eons. Of course we didn't exactly ask for one but my parents got one anyway. My brother and I were especially excited (my sister... not so much. Her new boyfriend keeps her pretty occupied). So now my nights are spent facing off my brother on Beatles Rockband.... Addict that I am... to both the game and the band in the game. And my avatar should clue you in to the rest of the gifts... I did get one Disney gift, ONE! Ummm..... I think there was a miscommunication on my mom's part, and she forgot to wrap half my presents too. That's ok, the nine bazillion vintage Beatles t-shirts made up for it....

We can do as many CPs as we want! No, I have to leave in April. I am SO HAPPY to be at DHS, I wanted to work in a park so badly. Two good friends of mine from my last CP worked at DHS previously and told me I would love working there. I hope they are right! And this time I have a high school friend joining me.

This thread just seems too dead nowadays...

I know, I got the email yesterday and started flipping out. I had been waiting since Dec. 7 to hear the admissions decision regarding school so I feel so much better knowing I am moving out there.

How's it going? I've been busy as a beaver. I started vision therapy down in Seattle about a month ago to see if they can fix my vision issues.

I'm doing care packages for soldiers.

Started a new bible study course (am I allowed to say that?)

Headed to Pelosiville (AKA SF) at the end of the month to pin down a surgery date for the adrenal surgery.

HONU! Great to see you! How's your snuggie? I totally need to make some for folks -- wonderful Christmas present ideas.

Yay for the care packages - we did some before Christmas with the idea of keeping that up throughout the year - I guess it's time to get back to work on that!

Hope things go well in SF ... I'll be praying ...
