Hi I haven't been on awhile--They found more cancer on my husband and started him on Chemo pills. Here is the Irony-I am off to be in the hospital for a bunch of tests. i am having tests on my heart, lungs, and kidney with my lupus we don't know what is starting to fail but this past week as been bad. I am on oxygen,have swollen legs, and having a hard time to stand without getting dizzy what a mess. So that is why all the tests.
My husband feels bad because he can't help me and I feel bad I can't help him-we are a real good old couple. The only good thing is my eldest son will be home from Afghanstan this week and that should be the last tour-he is retiring. my grandson will be home this week for fall break and he has already had to come over and help me up.
Just wanted to asked for any and all prayers would be apprecated. I am selfish I wanted it to be nothing serious for me so I can take care of my husband. My drs says he thinks thats what I have been doing and why it is so bad.

How is everyone? It has been awhile. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to the holiday season.

We are good. Moved back into our house and getting ready to head out on a cruise this weekend.

We leave for CA on Dec 16th, fly to HI on Dec 17th. I'm so excited!

Kaua'i this time, with a few days on Oahu. My IL's were given a timeshare on Kaua'i so that's where we're all staying (they're going, too, as well as DH's sibs) and they bought our plane tickets as our Christmas. We have to buy food for the condo and gas for the rental van but no lodging. Yay!
PM me and I'll let you know the name of the timeshare so you can see what it looks like.

Speaking of trips, I am sooooo jealous that honu and wonder got to go to DL together last week. I want to hear all the trip details. I did hear that honu got to do the boutique thing, which really sounds fun (but pricey). So, I want details, ASAP!

hi! yup, i met honu there. it was beautiful with perfect weather (although chilly in the evenings) and not too many people. they were expecting capacity on friday, however.

things are definitely more expensive now at disneyland, but with the premium pass they are offering 20% off of merchandise through january 3. park merchandise is MUCH more interesting this year, so hopefully that discount helps people with their christmas shopping. they also have a toys for tots booth just outside of the security area on the downtown disney site, and it should help with that too. the discount is a good thing given the state of california employment and increased expenses in daily life.

Same way at WDW. That 20% is a fantastic discount; the only problem with discounts is you still have to pay the 80%, though. Did you use it much?

I am still on the fence on whether to go next month or not. I know you were debating about going to dl or not, since you still don't have a job on the horizon. Hope that ends in the near future. I know how frustrating (and budget busting) that can be.

We won't be taking a trip to DL this year. We'll be in Cali from Dec 30th to Jan 5th after Hawai'i. It's pricey and besides, I can't ride much.

I gotta get up at 6am to go to work but am too keyed up and ecstatic over the DWTS results to sleep... I haven't screamed that loudly or cried out of happiness in a good long time. Ahh, it feels good to have something make me happy again....
