There are lots of threads saying how horrible it is to rent a car seat/booster seat, that they are in bad condition, etc.
Well, I just used a booster seat from Avis that was in GREAT condition. I went to put my DS in our rental car when I realized I'd completely forgotten about a booster, and in Nashville, where we were, you need one until they are 8, until Florida.
So we got one from Avis, and it was fine. I'd rent from them again if I had too much stuff to carry.
Now our rental car was another story. It died in traffic on the way to the airport!
