Forecast shows rain EVERYDAY we are there!

Hey, I was reading this thread, and it made me wonder. What do you do with a wet stroller?

This will be our first time taking my 2 year old, and since we're going 9/1 thu 9/5, I assume we'll see a good bit of rain. We're prepared, but it never occurred to me until now that I might need to know how to deal with a wet stroller.

Any advice on that?

I used to bring a plastic cover for the stroller which kept it mostly dry in case it go caught in a downpoar. I also kept a towel in a plastic bag the stroller basket since one time the stroller got soaked even with the plastic cover and my son couldn't ride in it because it was so wet. After that, in case it got wet, I would just pull out the towel and lay it over the wet seat.

It has NOT been super rainy here this summer IMHO! It has not even rained every single day! Today was a 10 minute thunder storm.

Of course it is hurricane season and it COULD rain all day every day - but that hasn't been the case this year yet. Local weather is barely even mentioning the tropical storm.

Seriously - if you don't want it to even be a possibility it may rain all day everyday - don't plan to come during hurricane season.

So far it looks like rain EVERYDAY while we are there, and I don't mean "scattered thunderstorms" like FL is known for, I'm seeing rain from the 27th to sept 3! I sure hope this isn't totally accurate since its still 9 days away but wow that would be a total bummer. I can handle the hour or so quick showers but all day would really put a damper on our vacation. We LOVE the waterparks too.

Welcome to Florida. If you dont want to vacation in the rain, take a cruise to some place like Aruba. ;)

Can you be my weather person about this upcoming 'storm'? We leave in a week and I'm nervous :sad2: We made it through Irene last year not hitting. Worried about the next two storms coming up. You can post here and keep all us in the loop:rotfl2::goodvibes

I don't mind rain but downpours all day long tend to be a bit much especially when traveling with a large group aging from 4-70... ;-) we are keeping a close eye on the current tropical storm too...our trip is august 24-31 and the boys are scheduled to go on the bass fishing excursion on Monday....praying they can do this!!!!

Well 94L is now a depression just hoping it stays weak and doesn't make a turn towards Orlando! We will be there from the 24th-1sr

Use the rain as an opportunity to throw out all touring plans and just enjoy each moment, even if you get wet.

I do not like to be wet, and Disney is about the only place I endure it. I prefer a light jacket or fishing shirt, since ponchos get me too wet and are a pain to deal with when the rain stops.
