What time do they usually close the mk etc.. during November? This seems like a nice time to go but not much fun if the parks close at dinnertime.

I will be there for Jersey week. Yes, it is always dissapointing that the parks aren't open later. But the crowds are so light that you can normally do everything during the day. Then we head to DTD, EpCot or a pool at night.

Jersey week is the first week of November this year (starting with Hallloween). All of the public schools are closed that Thursday and Friday for Teacher Convention. Most schools also close Tuesday for election day and some close for the whole week. Since it is at a slow time of year it is obvious that a lot of people are from NJ and normally run into people they know.

From what I understand, other areas have "their week" at Disney. It is just not the whole state at once.

The parks don't close at "dinnertime". I think MK was open until 9, EPCOT until 9, MGM until 7 maybe and AK until dusk as always. Weekend hours were a little longer than weekday hours.

But as My5Mouseketeers said, the crowds are so light that you can get so much done in a day. That leaves the evenings free for hotel-hopping, DTD, Old Town, Belz shopping, etc.

We'll be there again this week for our 3rd annual Jersey Week trip. I'll wear my DIS shirt and lime green Mickey heads so say hi if you see us.

I went during Jersey Week last year. The crowds were so low. I was really afraid the place was gonna be mobbed. Never waited more than 15-20 minutes and even that was rare. Most things were 5-10 minutes and some even walk-ons.

When we went Epcot was open until 9pm, AK until 5pm, MGM until 7pm and MK until 7 pm (the 2 days we did it, which were both weekdays). Early hours, but the crowds were light enough that you didn't need the late hours.

I think these were the hours when we were there a couple times during "Jersey Week" also.

We are going during Jersey Week this year- when I found out, I worried about crowds, but now I feel reassured that it will be a GREAT time to visit. Looking forward to meeting all you great Jersey-ites! We will be the ones with the southern accents saying, "Hey, y'all!":wave2: ::yes::

We went Jersey week in 2000. It was great, not that crowded or hot (but warm enough for the pools). Epcot also has their food & wine show that week and we went to a special wine tasting dinner, it was wonderful. One tip is to book your flight early, with that many people going from one area, the good times get booked quickly.
