I'm cracking up at your username! I LOVE it! My 13 year old daughter says everything is "beast". She loved Mickey is Beast!!!

Mine does too. She just turned 14.

Hi!! It has taken me so long to get back on here after returning from Disney last month for various reasons!! But, I'm here now and all caught up! Can't wait for more...day one looked great...poly looks awesome!!! I just started my TR tonight...come on over!

Nice pictures of the Poly room. We enjoy visiting there and have eaten at Captain Cook's, Kona, and 'Ohana. Haven't stayed there yet, but will someday. We watched NYE fireworks from the beach this year with a bunch of DIS friends. Very fun!

Hi Nikky!! I just found your trip report and have been reading through it! I love the poly! We've stayed there four times, but this August we are getting two rooms at the French Quarter. We've stayed at Riverside twice too, but that was when my two littlest kids were under three! So now, we are planning on doing two rooms. Just waiting to see if/when free dining comes out. We always go in August, b/c DH is a high school teacher and he teaches summer school, so we go the last two weeks in August before school starts back up again!

I love your youngest dd in her cheer costume! My boys play basketball and lacrosse and do karate, but my dd hasn't yet found her niche! We've done dance for two years and also gymnastics. But I didn't sign her back up in Sept, b/c she was starting K and I wasn't sure how she would handle the five full days of school. Between school and the boys activities she is wiped at the end of the day! But I'd like to find something to start with her again in Sept.

Can't wait to read more!

Hi everyone! I've missed you all and all things Disney! I hate that I have had zero free time to post my trip report. I do have almost all of it written, I just need to work on getting the pictures into the right spots.

I look forward to catching up on everyone's reports. I think if I had a future trip planned I would be much more likely to get mine done - that's a subtle hint to my hubby! I'll try to live through all of you planning trips for the time being.

Sunday, December 6th ~ Breakfast
Weather: 67/45, Partly Sunny & Chilly

We took it easy this morning trying to preserve some energy for the marathon week we were anticipating. I got up at about 7:30 and hopped in the shower followed by Travis.



We ate outside and it was so nice, peaceful and serene...and it was a beautiful morning. I loved it.







Caya had never had an up close encounter with a duck and was standing on the table half way through breakfast – they are some brave little creatures that walk right up to you and demand a meal! It was pretty funny! We ordered:

Travis: Danish
Nikky: Coke – in my refillable mug
Hayley: Chocolate Chip Muffin w/Juice
Caya: Cinnamon roll (she shared with me) w/Chocolate Milk

*** 3 Snacks and we paid cash for the drinks (about $5)

Sunday, December 6th ~ EPCOT

After breakfast, we walked to the TTC and boarded the monorail to Epcot.







We met everyone kind of in the middle. I hugged my 2 nephews I hadn’t seen yet and hugged their girlfriends I hadn’t met yet.



They were going to ride Mission Space and Test Track and I didn’t want to do that to Caya again so Hayley went with the rest of the family and Travis and I took Caya to do some more kid friendly things. The others rode Mission Space twice and Test Track and had lunch at the Electric Umbrella (except Hayley who was still full from breakfast). Travis, Caya and I rode/did:

*Finding Nemo
*Turtle Talk with Crush
*Journey to Imagination
*Club Cool











We then walked over to World Showcase and met everyone at the landing area called Showcase Plaza. There's a big balcony area overlooking the lagoon and all the countries. I tried to get a picture of each, there are some obstructions and most building were prett far away but it was a nice place to rest for a few minutes.

















We all went to Norway where we rode Maelstrom in memory of my Dad who was from Norway.

After this most of the fam wanted to head to Animal Kingdom – I did NOT want to take a bus to a resort to another park (too much wasted time) so my family of 4 plus one sister and one nephew headed to the monorail and went to Magic Kingdom.

Hey! I know I'm super late in joining your trip report, but I read it all & caught up this morning. We were there the week before yall.. we left the day yall arrived! Christmas season at Disney is really just the BEST!

Your girls are absolutely gorgeous! My son, Jake, was looking at the pictures as I was reading along and pointed to the one of Caya stunting at DHS and was like, "She's so CUTEEEE!"

You should totally convince your hubby that another Christmas trip is in order for this year!

Sunday, December 6th ~ Magic Kingdom

We hopped the monorail at Epcot to TTC and then to Magic Kingdom. I don't remember how many times we did this but I do remember being surprised that we didnt' have to go down the ramp and back up...we are allowed to walk straight across and onto the waiting Magic Kingdom monorail. Is this normal now?

We walked into the Magic Kingdom and my heart went pitter patter!

We stopped at the restrooms right by City Hall and found a sleeping cast member!



We were all starving and decided to have a late lunch at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland. We ordred:

Travis: Chicken Strips w/Fries, Carrot Cake & Fountain Coke
Nikky: ½ Rot. Chicken w/Gr Beans & Mashed Potatoes, Carrot Cake & Fountain Coke
Hayley: Chicken Sandwich w/Fries, Chocalate Cake & Fountain Coke
Caya: Chicken Nuggets w/Fries, Chocolate Chip Cookie & Chocolate Milk

I think I was too tired and hungry to take any pictures. Sorry!

After we ate, we rode some rides.

Caya was a little bit scared at first but ended up loving it.

Caya trying to convince all of us (and more importantly herself) that she was brave!



There was no one in line when the ride ended so they offered to let us stay on and ride again. Travis, Hayley & Scot did –the rest of us got out as quickly as possible. I was wet and it was not so warm that day and I don't think emotionally I could handle one more ride.

It was a bittersweet moment. My sister and I both cried remembering times with my sweet Dad enjoying this ride. I'm glad we did it but I don't think I will be up to doing it again for a long time.



And when we got off and looked back at the ride, there was THE most beautiful sunset I have ever seen at Disney World.
