Me too! It was a bit of a hassle but I got it about a week or two ago. You will hear about what we will have been up to from now on.

With so much going on, I think it makes complete sense you'd get behind here. My goodness. I'm so happy about everything (well not the breakup certainly), but mostly your parents move down to FLA! THAT is the best news of all.

Tuesday August 8

Today I was supposed to head to the beach with a couple roommates but due to a hurricane off of the coast it was a no go. Instead Leah and I decided to get up early to go to breakfast and hit up City Walk.

I woke up early and had to get some of this in



All of my roommates think I'm crazy because I get up early and work out

After I was done I headed back to the apt to wait for Leah to get up and get ready. Once we were good to go we headed to mine and Ben's favorite breakfast spot. It's called First Watch and it has the best breakfast food ever! I am a huge fan of breakfast so this place has quickly become one of my favorites.


I ended up getting the Farmer's Hash which is a bunch of vegetables mixed with hashbrowns and sunny side up eggs on top (you can get whatever type of eggs you want though). I also got the iced coffee which is beyond amazing!!!!



Leah was thoroughly impressed and we will definitely be visiting here again in the future!

It was then time to hit the road to City Walk. Our plan was to drink and shop around the area

We went in to Billabong first and then headed here



I had never been here before so it was cool seeing it in person! We had an awesome bartender named Greg who made us both a couple of great margaritas! It's not La Cava but it's still good!

We found out a lot of places didn't open until four so we ended up here next



We each had a drink and split a plate of potato skins. My friends are super good when it comes to my allergy

Our bartender was an older lady and was making fun of Taylor Swift and complaining about the bad music in the bar We really enjoyed her! I definitely notice bartenders more now that I am dating one

We headed back to roam around City Walk a bit more and debate about waiting for Pat O' Briens to open. We ended up walking past the Bob Marley bar where Leah needed to take a pic




I had been chatting a bit with Ben and he was working at Raglan so we decided to go visit him and come back to City Walk on Saturday.

Parking at DTD wasn't bad this day so we had a spot and drinks in our hand in no time. The bar was a bit busy but we got to chat with Ben for a couple drinks before nap time was calling us! We hit up Curl then headed home to rest.

We had to rest because we were going out later that night! One of our favorite bars in downtown Orlando closes this month so we wanted to be sure to get there before it shut down! It was supposed to be Leah, Taylor, Amanda (a new roommate) and I but Amanda decided not to go out. It was still a fun time though with plenty of bar hopping and late night eating


Wednesday August 6

Today I had class so I had to be out of the house by 7 in order to stop by a hotel on my way to the park. The first bus here was POP so I headed there to grab a little breakfast, some coffee and a water. I then took a bus to Animal Kingdom for our leadership class. Today we were at AK to look for the Disney Leadership Competencies. These are different aspects leaders need to have or work towards when it comes to being a leader at Disney. It was pretty cool being able to walk around and look at all of the different aspects and then ride Dinosaur

After class I decided on some pizza from Pizzafari before I headed to my next class



It was very good!


My next class was Disney Heritage and today we were at DHS! Today we were going to have a scavenger hunt around the park. I was in an awesome group so it was a ton of fun trying to figure out which buildings were based on actual buildings and answering questions about Walt's life! After class we all hung out for a bit before heading back to the apartment.

I had to head to work for a couple hours to help out and after Ben took me to the Melting Pot. I had never been so it was quite the experience! I loved having chocolate fondue for dessert and said I want to come back for it on my birthday


Today Thursday August 7


This morning Ben came and grabbed me to get some breakfast at First Watch before he took care of errands. Once again breakfast was amazing!

On our way out I went to go throw away the receipt and Ben freaked thinking I was going to throw away the coffee As he put it he didn't want to see me then dive in to the garbage after it Did I mention how amazing this coffee is?!

After getting back to the apartment I talked to my parents for a bit and unpacked the rest of my room. I went through a bit of roommate drama so once one of our roommates left I moved in with Leah to help ease tension. I had still had yet to unpack everything so it felt good getting the rest of it taken care of today.

I then went to the gym for a run and plan on a tv marathon for the rest of the night. I have to be up at 845 for work tomorrow then I am showing Ben around Epcot!!

It's difficult sometimes but I try to do my best to get a work out in each day!

It was still a good time! Just means we need to go back!

They are sometimes It's been a pain dedicating an entire day off to classes though!

They have gotten a lot better since I made the switch

They secretly admire your dedication and wish they could be so good about exercising. If I don't exercise first thing in the morning, I find it extremely difficult to do it later.

I love potato skins. It is a great gluten free food and it is just so normal. People just need a little more imagination when they eat gluten free.
