Thanks to all who sent me "Happy Birthday" wishes and told Dale "good luck"! We appreciate it. It went very well and he has a second interview (by phone) tomorrow. He also has a job offer here in Michigan so one way or the other he will be going back to work after a nice paid hiatus.

Catching Up

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know I have not abandoned you! Life has been super crazy with work and everything that is going on. I did want to let you know I will be skipping a few weeks in this TR for a few reasons

1.) Sean and I broke up a while ago and the next couple updates included him. We broke up around a month ago and it's always weird when it comes to updating and being like yeah it's a good pic but it's over Before you get too sad I have started seeing a new guy named Ben who is a bartender at Raglan Road... Good to know I branch out from World of Beer huh

2.) I haven't been able to share any of my work experiences with you. Since days tend to run together after being too far behind I can never remember what happened what day. I will be updating you on all of the magic I have created at the end of this post but I would love to be able to share in real time!

3.) I have had a lot of DISmeets and want to be able to keep my count! I have met some amazing DISers and my count is now at 14! Not all DISmeets but I have had people come up to me and tell me how much they love my TR! It's been crazy getting to meet all of these amazing people so I want to be able to share it all with you!

3.) My parents are moving to Florida!!!! Yep my dad got the job Ben and I went apartment hunting for them the other day and they already put in their application! In 11 days I will be going to Michigan to say goodbye to everyone and help them move!


So yeah a lot has happened and I didn't really want to wait to tell you all. I hope you aren't mad! To make it up to you I will share my most magical moments and pictures from the time I am skipping!


Magical Moments (taken from Facebook)

I had this little girl her mom and brother come through the FP lane. The little girl was bawling her eyes out so I knelt down and said "Princess what's wrong?" Her mom said she lost her Cinderella jibbit on her croc. I pulled out my pin lanyard and said "well she's no Cinderella but Mickey asked me to find someone to take care of her for him." And I pulled off the Minnie pin I had. "Do you think you can take care of her for Mickey and I?" She shook her head yes and I turned to her brother and said "you look like a pirate and all good pirates need a parrot!" And pulled off the parrot pin I had on my lanyard and gave it to him.


Got my first four keys fanatic card!!! I got it from a fellow CM for telling a little girl our ride is closed tonight because Marlin is throwing Dory a party to celebrate her new movie and we can't have people in there because we have to fill the building with water


After a nerve wracking Turtle Talk with Crush I had a girl around 9 or 10 say "I wanted to ask him a question!" So I asked what her question was. "How does he hide in his shell?" I told her only land turtles can do that and Crush's shell is a part of his body it grows with him as he grows. I then told her to look at her finger nails and that they are made of the same thing as Crush's shell. She smiled and stood up to leave. A little bit later she runs back and says "You so totally rock dude!"

Created my first magical moment today! I saw a little girl in a Cinderella costume and I said "Princess you are finally here to find Nemo! Marlin has been waiting for you all day! We have to get you inside quickly!" I took them through our exit gift shop and told the other CMS it was the princess and they bowed and waved and then led her and her family on to the ride through our wheel chair exit. And then I cried because I'm a sap


Had to stall at Turtle Talk today so I did my usual "who's having a great day at Epcot?... shout out your favorite thing today!" I had a group shout out beer and I replied "sounds like someone has been in the world showcase!" Later once I began my safety spiel and got to no drinking I added on "that's for my friends in the back"

I got a 4 keys card from a manager!!!! I got it for helping a family figure out how to change their fastpass on the my disney app


For those of you who don't know a 4 keys card is special recognition for someone when they are upholding the 4 main Disney values!

I also have taken to using Mickey stickers as a form of protection for kids. I handed one out to a little girl who was afraid of Bruce on our ride and told her Bruce is afraid of Mickey so he won't scare her. I also passed one out to a kid who was having a tough time going on any ride telling him no one will scare him since it shows he has a direct connection to their boss.

With so much going on, I think it makes complete sense you'd get behind here. My goodness. I'm so happy about everything (well not the breakup certainly), but mostly your parents move down to FLA! THAT is the best news of all.
