FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER...I'm NOT GOING HOME!! UPDATE DEC.30 PG 74

Just saw your number of views! Over 100K :dance3::dance3: Oh and BTW I'll be seeing you NEXT MONTH :cheer2::cheer2:

I never knew that the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet was back there until I started hanging around the Dis. I've learned a lot from this site.

The phone case is adorable. I would totally buy that if I didn't already love my Tangled case. It must be hard to resist all the wonderful things for sale there. Our favorite movie at Epcot is the one from Canada and our favorite shop is the one in Japan. :)

I have to agree with rob - not too many jobs out there where u want to spend your day off! So what is this strongbow you speak of? Whiskey? One thing I have yet to do is sit at the bar at Rose n Crown. And I have yet to eat sushi in japan. If you love sushi make sure you try splitsville. The sushi they serve outside is amazing.

Sounds like a fund day! So great to just be able to go to the park and hang out and not be concerned with getting specific things done. Loved all the hat pics! (though, as someone of German decent I like to think of those hats as dignified, not silly :) )

Glad you are finding drinks you like. If you ever come across a gluten free wheat/whit beer you can get orange juice in it and have like a beer mimosa (we do that with Hoegaarden and it is really good!)

It was! I definitely agree! Knowing I can go to the parks whenever I want to is a great feeling! Thank you! Sorry!

That does sound good!

Sounds like such a fun day! Sean better play his cards right or else you may run off with Pooh :rotfl:

I love all the hat pics but what the heck is that gold one :confused3

Thanks for sharing your day off with us :)

It was! I might

It was a Samuri hat

No problem!

This really got me thinking. What other job would you freely go to on your time off? Not many I assure you.

pixiedust: You are now officially an Honourary Canadian (and also why you must now spell honour and colour with a "u"). Yup, it's really that easy. :thumbsup2

OMG I would have died if I saw Tigger mime drinking. :rotfl2:

Loving the moderate Drinking and Hats around the World. That's a good concept.

I agree! A lot of people who are regular CMs refuse to go to the parks when they aren't working :confused3 What's the point of working at Disney then?!

I wondered why a year's supply of maple syrup showed up at my apartment :thumbsup2

It was crazy!

It was a lot of fun and pretty cheap!

I had a bad day at work & your drinks:drinking1 look good....

They were good!

Yay!!

Can't wait!

That's why I love the DIS! Always something new to learn!

I love all of the tote bags they have but they are a bit expensive! I love both of them as well!

I just love it too much!

It is a cider which tastes a bit dryer than Angry Orchard or Woodchuck. Next DIS meet will have to be there!

I need to go to that place! I keep saying I will get around to it but haven't yet!

June 10

Our next stop was Morocco where I had my eye set on some ice cream!

I got Pistachio Orange Blossom and Green Tea. It was so good and refreshing!!

Looks good and sounds interesting. I might have to give it a try this time around. :thumbsup2

We hung out here for a while since I needed to find an outlet to charge my cell phone.

For future reference, where did you find an outlet? I am a battery-drainer extraordinaire, so it's always good to know where I can 'juice up' here and there.

You had my favorite snack in WS...Chocolate caramel covered pineapple!!! It is so refreshing yet helps your sweet tooth with the chocolate and caramel.

I'm loving reading about your adventures. It must be awesome just being able to spend parts of your days at the parks! Thanks for taking the time to share.

Love the around the world stories!! Pooh & Tigger seem like they were a BLAST that day, that's so awesome!! If you really liked that strongbow drink I HIGHLY suggest adding an ounce of chambord into a strongbow (if you can have it? :confused3 ) it's a berry flavoured liquor and it makes the strongbow taste SO much better lol!

I love getting to spend time in the countries. Love how you have all the different hat pictures. Was that your first time in Rose and Crown? I think the Pooh you met was the one we just met. He was a real "character"

So far your Epcot day sounds like fun. I really want to eat my way around world showcase.

"and I found this piece of beauty!

It tasted sooo good!!"

Alright, now I'm really bummed, because I was just there on Thursday and they told me their chocolate wasn't gluten free! I wanted that delicious pineapple so badly! Hope you enjoyed it! I'll have to get one the next time I'm there!

So much deliciousness in one update!

That Strongbow with a shot of fruit juice sounds really interesting! I'll definitely have to give that a try. And that lemonade from America!

I really need one of those chocolate and caramel pineapples, too! And some sushi!

:D

It was so good! You need to!

They have them under covers in Italy and inside the China pavilion.

Most of the chocolate fell off though!

It is a great way to spend a day!

Me too!

Thank you!

I have eaten there before a long time ago but hadn't been in the bar ever.

Yeah he is!

You should! It was a fun day!

I'm gluten free as well. A lot of the places have begun saying that because of cross contamination concerns but it's not entirely true. I usually don't have issues with things that are made in the same kitchen so I am fine when it comes to that stuff. I had the same issue happen at the candy counter in DHS when I asked for an allergy book they wouldn't give me one and only told me that everything is cross contaminated :confused3 I have had the rice krispie at the carmel place too and I was also fine I just think that Disney has gotten a bit lazy now that they have the allergy kiosk at Animal Kingdom.

So much deliciousness in one update!

June 11

Today was an early morning and Sean and I were headed to the Wave! I had never been here but it was another 40% off place so why not?!

The entryway here is very cool!

We were seated quickly and our waiter was very nice! We got a pressed pot of coffee which tasted amazing! Sean thought it was a bit strong but he tends to put waayyy too much sugar and cream in his coffee so he isn't used to real coffee  The chef came out as usual to talk about my allergy and led me through the buffet. There were a ton of things I could eat and he told me he would bring me out some pastries and Mickey waffles!

The food was amazing and Sean and I both enjoyed everything! We were stuffed by the time we left and headed to

This is Sea World's water park! This was my first time ever going there and I didn't know it existed until Sean told me about it!

The fortish thing in the back in the newest water slide. You go in to a chamber and the floor drops out and you go down the slide! It was a bit crazy and they play this heart pounding music to try and psyche you out!

This is their lazy river which leads to two different water slides. The lazy river goes through a fish aquarium and shows the dolphin slide area.

They also have another lazy river that pushes you along without a tube. It's a fast moving river and just pushes you along it's pretty cool!

This is the restaurant area where Sean and I ended up taking cover once it started raining! Welcome to Florida! It rained on and off for most of the afternoon so Sean and I took cover under an umbrella on the beach and napped  The life of an amusement park worker

Overall the park is gorgeous

But I prefer Typhoon Lagoon. The lazy river is usually what sells me when it comes to water parks and I just wasn't as impressed with this one. It was fun and I am sure I will be back at some point but it just wasn't as good as Disney. So glad Disney could earn one back after Busch Gardens!

After the water park we headed to World of Beer like we do weekly  Then went back home so I could rest for work!

No pictures of the buffet :confused3 Were you so hungry you forgot?!

Disney's waterparks are pretty amazing so I find it easy to believe Sea Worl's didn't measure up. Sounds like another fun day off tho!

I love all your hat pictures! How fun!!

I never would have guessed that Tigger was a drinker. :rotfl:

That chocolate caramel pineapple looks soooo good!!!! Yummy!!

I'm not even there and it's psyching me out!

The Wave seems like a place people like when they go but won't go out of their way to get to

That water park sounds fun and the lazy river that goes through the aquarium seems really cool but I guess it sounds better than it really was

After reading this TR I think I am going to by stock in World of Beer ;)

Thank you!

Out of the 100 Acre Wood crew I would have pictured Rabbit as the drinker :rotfl2:

It is pretty crazy!

True it was good though!

It is cool to see at least once!

You may need to :rotfl2:

You're really packing in the new experiences! So exciting!

Yep! I am having tons of fun!
