FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER...I'm NOT GOING HOME!! UPDATE DEC.30 PG 74

Congratulations on earning your ears!
Love the Busch Garden update, looks like a really cool place. I've always wanted to go there. Feeding kangaroos sounds like fun!

Fun update! I am so glad you are making the most of your time there. Working hard, learning, sightseeing and making friends! Florida life is good! :goodvibes

Thank you!

I have been able to see so many cool things already! I feel so lucky!

Thanks for all the great BG pictures. If I get that AP while I'm in Williamsburg I will most definitely head over there sometime this year. It really looks lovely. How were the coasters? Which did you like best? Which do you think is best for someone like me who can handle EE and RnR but really doesn't want anything much more extreme than that?

That sunglass shot really is very cool.

Thank you!

You should!

Oh geez! I completely forgot to talk about any of the coasters! You have to lock up all of your stuff when you go on any so it's hard remembering I went on them without pictures :rotfl:

You really should be fine on any of them. They all go upside down but they all are a smooth ride. Sheikra I would look at before you got on because there are steep drops inserted in to the roller coaster ride. You ride up to them then look and drop straight down. They are all awesome though so if you think you are up for them don't pass them up!

You had absolutely no reason to be stressed about your assessment at all. I knew you would pass with flying colors. :goodvibes

Do I need to buy you a GPS? :rotfl2:

From my recollection, albeit my four year old recollection, I think Busch Gardens is definitely more animal focused than the Animal Kingdom. I think Disney tried really hard not to be zoo-like. Maybe they should have re-thought that.

Good thing you didn't get arrested for stealing a wild animal. Because I could totally see the draw of stealing one of those guys.

WORLD OF BEER! Totally got excited about that again. :rotfl2:

Thank you!

I try using the GPS on my phone! We usually end up missing a turn though :lmao:

Busch Gardens is very bright and colorful too which is another reason I enjoyed it! I loved seeing all of the brightly colored buildings and not having to ride a ride in order to see their savanna.

He was too cute!

Sean and I go about once a week now :rotfl:

What wonderful updates!!
Glad you're having fun and making the most of your time exploring around down there! BG looks like a fun time, I'll definitely have to check that out that's for sure!

Crappy deal with the busses, I haven't heard anything good about them at all and am definitely not excited, but hey, I'm sure it will be fine lol!

Thank you! You should!

You get used to it. You get accustomed to getting there about an hour early after a bit

Congrats on earning your ears! Yeah!

We did Bush Gardens a few years ago and really liked it. It is a little more "zoo-like" than AK - but has some dang fine roller coasters (not that Everest isn't, just more at Bush Gardens)

Thank you!

The roller coasters were awesome!

Congratulations on earning your ears. :cheer2: Everyone here on the Dis knew you would do it. ;)

Are those real alligators all lined up like that?

Your cheeseburger looks huge!

Thank you!

Yes they are!

It was! I couldn't finish it!

CONGRATULATIONS Caitlin!!!! Even though I already knew you earned your ears, seeing it in print here somehow makes it more official, lol.

Oh yeah, getting to Busch is no easy driving task I can conquer.

Yeah, it is hard to compare AK and Busch. But if you want to see animals up close, Busch is the place. I love Animal Kingdom, but I guarantee you'll not get a pic of a lion like this...

Haha, shame on you for thinking the turtle was gross. Crush is much cuter though. :lmao:

Thank you!

It is a bit complicated!

That is such a cool picture!

Fun update! I've not been to BG since before the Es were born so....long time! I loved it though.

Of course you earned your ears! Silly girl :)

Cute pics of the two of you and I love the sunglasses shot.

It is a very cool place! I am sure they would love it!

I was still worried!

Thank you!

Congrats on Earning your ears.

Luvin the busch gardens pics as well

Thank you!

Thank you!

Great photos from BG! Hope you're enjoying your coworkers in The Seas and making lots of magic! pixie dust: According to DD, that's definitely the best part of the job.

Thank you!

I love all of my coworkers!

Great update! You didn't ride any rides?!? :confused3

We rode all of the roller coasters but had to lock up our stuff so no pictures of them caused me to forget :thumbsup2

Congratulations on earning your ears!

You should go!

It was so much fun!

Sounds like your having tons of fun. I now wanna go visit Busch Gardens in Tampa. Just another reason to go down plus I miss Clearwater Beach. We live 60 min from the Busch Gardens in Va and plan on going in Oct when it's not to busy.

Congrats on earning your ears! I've never been to BG but it looks awesome!

Congratulations on Earning your Ears Caitlin! It seems like your really making the most of your experience. Love the updates.

Your review of Saana is one of the reasons we are going to try to eat there the night we arrive at Kidani. Only Clydesdales at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I am not sure I like how close to the walk way those crocodiles are!!

Tuesday was my assessment and I was super worried! Luckily I passed!!! :thumbsup2 I earned my ears y'all!!!!!

Congrats!
But I didn't have any doubts that you'd make it!

Sean and I set out early for Tampa this morning! We were headed to Busch Gardens! I had never been to to the one in Florida only the one in Virginia so I was very excited to check it out!

I didn't know there was oneoutside of Florida!
I've been... but it's been over 20 years....
I think I might've dated myself a bit there.

Is that King Kong? And why is he smelling that woman?

I have to admit I might like Busch Gardens better! Sorry Disney!

:scared1:
:faint:

JK As you may recall, while I love WDW, I'd pick lots of other places to go to first.

We stopped for a bit to watch this turtle and it was the grossest thing i have ever seen! It was eating and the tongue on these things is so gross looking! I know I should be nice because I work with his cousin but too bad.

You must be the first person ever to notice a turtle tongue!

Sean took some time out to take the coolest photo ever!

From that one and the others you posted at the end of the update,
it looks like he's quite the accomplished photographer.

:thumbsup2

"Excuse me? But why is this person sniffing my head?"

Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

sounds like you are having a great time on your CP so far. Congratulations on earning your Ears. I love seeing all the gluten free choices that you have. I can't wait to read more. I sent you a friend request on facebook and would love to follow on your journey.

Yay! I hope you love it as much as we did!

I do remember seeing them when I went when I was younger!

They aren't that close it only looks that way :thumbsup2

Congrats!

You might have :rolleyes1

Is that King Kong? And why is he smelling that woman?

Yes and she had on banana scented perfume!

:scared1:
:faint:

That's very true! I was really surprised I liked it better than AK! I would not have thought I would!

Oh no I think everyone watching that turtle was engrossed by the tongue!

From that one and the others you posted at the end of the update,
it looks like he's quite the accomplished photographer.

He is very talented! I have actually learned a thing or two from dating him :)

:thumbsup2

"Excuse me? But why is this person sniffing my head?"

He can be weird that way :rotfl:

Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

June 4-6

June 4

Today was a longer work day for me and I didn't get out until 915. Sea World employees had two days where they could get in free to a mini golf place so since I worked the entire day one of the days Sean and I decided to go this night. I was pretty beat when we got there though!

But I did perk up when I saw random baby alligators outside!

I have only ever seen alligators outside somewhere in Louisiana and Florida :rolleyes1 It must be a southern thing

The mini golf place was

It was a really cute place and like most mini golf places outside of Disney property, it had a jungle theme.

When you get your golf clubs and scorecard they tell you to look for certain "hidden items" throughout the course. Well they hid them very well because we only found three of them

I got a hole in one but Sean ended up winning. I will blame it on how tired I was and this in no way reflects my awesome mini golf skills

June 5

I woke up early this morning and checked out Instagram. Chip and Co were at Downtown Disney for the opening of the new Marketplace Co-OP!!!!!!! I jumped out of bed and called Sean to come pick me up promising breakfast at WPE

Luckily I have an awesome boyfriend who feeds in to my Disney mania and he was there soon! He stopped to get a smoothie while I ran to get in line. When you got in line they gave you sheets of the Vera Bradley bags so you could choose which ones you wanted while you waited.

I also sent some pictures to mom to see if there was anything she wanted.

I ran to Starbucks for a light coffee frappucino and when they were finishing up my order they started opening up the area to get in to the Co-Op! Sean texted me telling me to hurry up  So I ran over and a nice CM let me in the area so I could stand near Sean.

It wasn't too long of a wait before "Veronica" the DTD fashonista came out and began introducing people. My boss, Mickey, was there of course and cut the ribbon to let us all in. Our first stop was in line for the Veras!

Where I got these babies!

The big bag was for mom and the little ones were for me! I really like carrying wristlets rather than purses when I go out and these patterns were too cute!

Then we had to check out the home decor!

Everything was just too cool! I am planning on an Adventureland dining room for my future home!

I also had to go check out the sports section!

Disney representing my home team!

They also have an entire section dedicated to the tech merchandise

So many cute phone cases but I would never spend that much on a phone case!

The next section is dedicated to make up!

Then a TrenD area for little girls

I ended up finding this tote bag which is now my work bag

We checked out and then headed to WPE. We missed breakfast by ten minutes but ended up getting something better!

Love those mashed potatoes!

And one last picture of everything I bought

I then had to go to work and close out the park!

June 5

This was another work day for me but after work we had some people over to the apartment to hang out.

The awesome people with me are Arsenio and Kim! They work with me at the Seas and they are so much fun to hang out with!

Then Sean was there too

It was a very fun night!

Congrats on earning your ears!!

Great updates and pictures! I'm drooling over the pics of the things in Marketplace Co-op. A visit there has just been added to my August trip. :thumbsup2

The Marketplace Co-op looks so cool - glad they set that up and hope that a lot of the other new stores that are opening in Disney Springs are the same level of quality and of "you can't get this stuff everywhere"

I like the Mickey resting his chin in his hands on the bag you got for your mom. Also, you works bag is definitely a lot cooler looking than mine :rotfl:

Love all the pics but my favorite is of course the one repping the "D". You may live in Florida now but even though they took the girl out of Michigan you can't take Michigan out of the girl :goodvibes

Thanks for the pics of the co-op store! It looks very cool :yay: I looked over some of the online merchandise for the co-op, & it seems that they offer even more there.

Luvin all the adventureland theme plates and stuff. I need a Disney vera bag! Also Disney need to start doing more phone cases for iphone 5c... nobody does cases for that phone!

I love, love LOVE that Mary Poppins bag!!! Too cute!

I also think the little elephant from the Jungle Cruise is adorable....is it just a figurine, or is it some sort of container for the kitchen?
