For the first time in forever - I have 2 active tickers!! A Sept and Dec 2014 Trip

No offense to anyone else out there, but THAT IS THE BEST COUNTDOWN I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! I've seen tonz of links, etc, but never a monorail track. OMG!!!

Your days look awesome!!! :cool1:

Thank you! I was looking for a while for one that I really liked and I just wasn't that into the links, but this is awesome and really fun! I just wish the December trip wasn't a surprise so we could use it again :rotfl2:

:cool1::cool1: that you were able to get the BBB on your MK morning despite oversleeping. We loved the Pirate League experience with Avery...they were great.

I was shocked when I got an early time! I am also very excited to see how the Pirates League is I think Faith is going to enjoy it!

Your plans for the Studios sound great.

And love your countdown calendar.

Thank you! The girls are having a lot of fun with it!

This day my family and I are splitting up, my Mom, Dad Brother and his family are heading to AK while me, hubby and the girls are going to...

(Please forgive the Christmas picture!)

This morning we have a late breakfast ADR at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall :dance3: The girls do not know about this breakfast as I originally told them we would not be doing a princess dining this year. But at last minute I decided to check and see if I could get something and this showed up! :cheer2:

I also did not make any fastpasses for this day as it was more important for me to save the day for our last MK day... Yup again this is how I felt:

So we do not have to much planned. I am hoping I will be able to get fastpasses for Soarin or Test Track, Character Spot and Gran Fiesta Tour.

That night we are heading over to HS for dinner at Mama Melrose and the Fantasmic! package. :cool1:

We are meeting up with the rest of the family at this point and our dinner is early at 5:00 so there will time to go around before Fantasmic! starts.

This night I am hoping to do the Disney Jr Live in Stage, Muppet Vision and Great Movie Ride.

After Fantasmic we go back and my brother and his family go home the next day :wave2:

My brother and his family are leaving this day so they will not be at the park with us. Originally this day was planned as a Magic Kingdom day with lunch at the Plaza Restaurant BUT then they extended Frozen Summer Fun!!!

So at what felt like last minute (really 30 days out) we changed our plans.

This day we are in HS

Now the only people participating in the Frozen Summer Fun is the girls and my parents, this night hubby and I have a date night in Epcot so we would miss the fireworks.

When I mentioned to my dad this event he asked if there was a separate admission and I told him but they do offer a premium package but it was not necessary because you can see everything without it. To which he replied "I don't care get it, this is how I do Disney" :lmao::rotfl2: So it was settled that my parents and the girls all have the Frozen premium package.

So when they are doing the Frozen activities hubby and I will use our fastpasses. For this day I have RnRR, TOT and Star Tours.

Then at night hubby and I leave my parents to go to Epcot for dinner at Rose and Crown Pub which I (hopefully) strategically planned to watch this:

Illuminations!

This will be the first time I have every seen this so I am very excited. I am hoping we can also get there a little early so we can have some time to walk around the countries.

After our dinner we head home and get ready for our last day at the park

Firstly, I LOVE your countdown! I may steal that idea as my trip gets closer (I don't have enough room on my wall for over 60 days).
I love that you're surprising the girls with breakfast at Akershus. I'm sure they'll be thrilled!

I love your dad's reaction to the Frozen premium package ... if he's willing to pay extra, why not? I'm sure the girls will be thrilled about that.
I really love Illuminations, it's one of my favorite nighttime events. We see it almost every time we go and always enjoy it. It really is very special and I hope you guys like it!

Your plans look great! Yay to Akerhus!

You will have to say how Mama Melrose is.

I was so happy to come across this ADR especially so close to the trip! I had lunch there once and was not that excited about the food but since this is breakfast I am looking forward to another expirence!

This will be my first time there and so far it sounds good and has great reviews but I will make sure I put in my 2 cents when I get back! :thumbsup2

Firstly, I LOVE your countdown! I may steal that idea as my trip gets closer (I don't have enough room on my wall for over 60 days).

Thank you! Here is the link and don't worry I only had room for 17 days out the tracks are pretty large! http://www.mouseearsmom.com/2013/09...ur-walt-disney-world-vacation-free-printable/

I love that you're surprising the girls with breakfast at Akershus. I'm sure they'll be thrilled!

I hope so Belle is Becky's favorite and Ariel is Faith's so they will at least be happy to see them!

My train of thought exactly.

I really love Illuminations, it's one of my favorite nighttime events. We see it almost every time we go and always enjoy it. It really is very special and I hope you guys like it!

I am looking forward to finally seeing it, I have been to Disney 4 times in my adult life and still have not seen it! So it's about time :yay:

Okay this is our last day at the park and we will be spending it like we always do at the MK!!

Our first fastpass of the day is for the Tomorrowland speedway. This will be a new attraction for us and I think the girls will love it!

Next up is:

Then our last fastpass of the day is for

This day we also have a lunch ADR at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Every trip this is a must for my mom as she LOVES their ooey gooey toffee cake dessert

Again I will see what the wait times for Anna and Elsa are and depending on what they are we might see them! (If we haven't already)

We will also go to see Mickey and ride Dumbo (along with playing in the play area)

As I said this will be our last day as our flight leaves at 11:00 am the next morning :sad2: But the good news is..... I will be back in just 77 days!!! Which mean just 17 days after I get home I will begin making fastpasses for December :lmao::cool1::cheer2: :rotfl2:

Next update I have a few things I want to share that are going with this 1st trip!

Okay so in real life Faith begins school on Tuesday and it will be for a full day!! This year she is beginning 1st grade. Becky is starting preschool but since we cannot afford the preschool bill and our public school does not offer it I will be working with her at home! ::yes:: I also start classes on Wednesday and am not looking forward to it I am taking Math and Philosophy and pretty much I am just like this  in both those subjects.

In Happier news this time next week I will be asleep (hopefully) in Kissimmee!!!

So far I have not packed anything :scared1: but I have made some things for the trip first up I bought Becky some new Belle shoes to go with her dress (she worn the other ones so much they were actually worn down!)

This years shoe doesn't have a strap on it:

so naturally they kept slipping off her feet. She loved them but could not walk in them so I came up with a solution:

A bow! Now they stay on and again she is wearing them all the time!

Next up I wanted a pair of yellow shoes to go with my Minnie dress, however it was impossible to find a pair of yellow flats! So I got creative (well kinnda) and bought a pair of white canvas shoes and dyed them yellow!:

I need to start wearing them more as I want to break them in.

Okay I also decorated my mom's magic band and added some more things onto mine:

So thats my real life update!

Thanks for following along and I will make sure to post my trip report on here when I get back. Also like I said when I get back I just start to plan for December so thread will stay up for a while! :surfweb: :wave2:

I love the bow on the Belle shoes.

Great idea to dye the shoes yellow are you gonna do regular laces or get some cute ribbon.

You did an amazing job with your magic bands I wish I could do that.

Last day plans look great. I love the idea of ending your trip at MK!

The bow on the Belle shoes is such a great idea - it makes them look so special! Dyeing the white shoes yellow is a great idea, but definitely break them in - you only have a week and you don't want your feet to hurt at Disney! I've already started breaking in one of my pairs of shoes, and my trip isn't for another few months (although I know from experience that these shoes can take a long time to break in).

The MBs both look great! You did a good job on both of them.

So excited for you that you are SO close to Disney Time!!!! That countdown monorail is so awesome!!! What a great idea. :goodvibes

Love the bow on the Belle shoes and your shoes dyed yellow.

I think that is so great that the guys are going to do the Pirates League and go to the party as Pirates. So fun.

My kids loved the Pirates League - I am sure that Faith will love being turned into a mermaid!! Even better that she will meet Ariel in the grotto while she is a mermaid too.

I think that is great that you will be able to have lunch in the Beast's Castle while they are still all dressed up.

Yeah Princess Breakfast at Akershaus (Pretty much my favorite character meal). The breakfast is SO good and you get to meet Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White. It's princess overload!! The girls will love it, and even better that you are surprising them with it.

Lots of great plans. I am so looking forward to hearing how well everything works out and to see all the pictures!

I love the bow on the Belle shoes.

Thank you, I felt bad because she LOVED the shoes but did not want to wear them so I had to come up with some type of solution! But she has worn then so much the ribbon is fraying at the ends I have to see if I can fix that

Great idea to dye the shoes yellow are you gonna do regular laces or get some cute ribbon.

I wanted to find yellow flats but they were impossible to come by, I am just going to do regular laces in them honestly I didn't even think of trying anything new

You did an amazing job with your magic bands I wish I could do that.

Thank you! I loved painting them so much! I already have decided what the bands for December are going to get (well that is everyone's but mine:rolleyes1)

Last day plans look great. I love the idea of ending your trip at MK!

I make it a point to make that the last park we are in so my final memory is of the castle!

Thank you! I must say I was impressed at how they came out and she is super happy that they are not slipping off! Yes the shoes still need more breaking in but thankfully they are pretty flexible so I don't think I will have to many problems

The MBs both look great! You did a good job on both of them.

They were such fun to do! I can't wait until I have more to decorate :cloud9:

I am behind again because we had the kids here all weekend and then my boss came back after 2-1/2 month summer vacation.

I LOVE your last day plans. And I love that you will go home and make your FP+ selections 17 days later for the next trip. :)

The shoes are adorable.

So excited for you that you are SO close to Disney Time!!!! That countdown monorail is so awesome!!! What a great idea. :goodvibes

Thanks the girls love it actually just yesterday Faith understood what 4 more days was! It was so exciting to see her realize and go through the days in her head and see it click. When she realized just how close we are she was so excited!:woohoo:

Love the bow on the Belle shoes and your shoes dyed yellow.

When theres a will theres a way, now I just have to figure out how to get the ends to stop fraying!

I think that is so great that the guys are going to do the Pirates League and go to the party as Pirates. So fun.

My Dad is getting all into it, just this week he mentioned that he is going to try to find a pirates costume!

My kids loved the Pirates League - I am sure that Faith will love being turned into a mermaid!! Even better that she will meet Ariel in the grotto while she is a mermaid too.

She is super happy about becoming a mermaid over a princess

I think that is great that you will be able to have lunch in the Beast's Castle while they are still all dressed up.

Now I just hope I can get in there

Yeah Princess Breakfast at Akershaus (Pretty much my favorite character meal). The breakfast is SO good and you get to meet Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White. It's princess overload!! The girls will love it, and even better that you are surprising them with it.

In my house (especially with Becky) there is no such thing as princess overload :lmao:

Lots of great plans. I am so looking forward to hearing how well everything works out and to see all the pictures!

I am glad that I finished my TR so when I get home I can get started on this TR!!! :rotfl:

Just a suggestion to keep the ends from fraying put nail polish on the ends of the ribbon. :goodvibes

I hope you had a good time!

Just 14 days now! I am so excited :yay:

The shoes are adorable.

Thank you I was glad I was able to come up with a solution

Just a suggestion to keep the ends from fraying put nail polish on the ends of the ribbon. :goodvibes

Thanks for the tip, it worked! The shoes stayed together all trip and I received a lot of compliments on them!

Hi everyone :wave2: I'm back! (Obviously) The trip was awesome! We didn't get everything done that we wanted but having the whole family there was great :goodvibes

Hopefully I will soon get to work on the TR I had some serious school work to catch up on these last few days. But now I am caught up so hopefully sometime next week the TR will have begun!

In December news just 14 more days until I can make fastpass selections! :woohoo: SPOILER ALERT: we were not able to meet Anna and Elsa :sad1: but I am determined to get a fastpass for them for December. So I expect to be up at 12 am on October 2nd to get it!!:surfweb:

Once I get the TR started I will post the link here!

Welcome back! I'm so glad to hear the trip was awesome.

I can't wait to read the trip report (and read more about your planning for the December trip)!
