You might have already seen this but I thought I'd post it anyway.

It's rather funny and at times offensive, especially to the Pro-Bush people.

Warning: Bush Supporters Should Stay Away from this Site...It will make you mad.

http://homepages.nyu.edu/~meo232/sloganator/ (Oh, it has sound too.)

Make your own poster here:

http://www.bushsloganator.com/cgi-b...bcahehfgpgihegjfhcahdhjgbeecadgdadecahcgfhgep

I fully expect lots of "flameage;" however, I feel that no response is needed. I have my political views and you have yours. End of story.

I think it's funny that you titled your message "anti-Bush" instead of 'pro-Kerry"

Speaks volumes.

Thanks for that I now have eliminated NYU from the list of univeristies for consideration for my daughter to attened.

If any part of the previous post is true,
on behalf of NYU, Thank You.

IF? IF? Are you suggesting that the polical science dept at NYU may not be accurate in the education is charges for?

ThreeCircles, quite frankly I've never come across someone so full of hate for Bush and Reagan, or for anyone that does not hold the same beliefs as you. I'm sure you find it surprising that other people don't seethe like you do, but they don't.

But, it's always entertaining to read your rantings.

Have you tried looking in a mirror lately?

You haven't exactly been all sunshine and light about those that are on the other side of the fence from you.

I would think it would come as no surprise that many people--Republicans among them--would like to see Bush out of the White House moreso than they want to see Kerry IN the White House. Speaks volumes? You betcha. I think it speaks volumes that I've heard of no (and granted, it may be because I just haven't heard of them yet) Democrats throwing their support towards Bush, but I've heard of--and personally know-- many Republicans who've jumped ship because they can't abide another 4 years with this administration.

I took the opportunity to enter my own slogan, The Best President since Ronald Reagan.

Some of the slogans were really cute, but I can't stand the misuse of the word "retarded," and I blame Howard Stern for its popularity. Just makes me cringe.

The Kucinich campaign had the best anti-Bush videos and parodies.

momof2, I'm with you on that--I really dislike the use of the term "retard" as a slur. My kids would get into more trouble calling one another that than they would calling one another, well, lets just say...parts of their anatomy.

I have to say, haven't seen the Kucinich ads. I'll poke around online for them. Thanks for the heads-up.

Here are a few other sites my fellow Bushwhackers should check out :)

As to "speaking volumes"...you're right, it does. It speaks volumes that this president that claimed he would be "a uniter, not a divider" was no more honest in his campaigning than he has been since taking office. :hyper:

Anyway, check out these sites:

Democratic Underground (My personal favorite)

Dubyas Dayly Diary

Sick of Bush - Blog

and one of the best Bush Bashing sites out there:

The Smirking Chimp

I received a link to the sloganator several weeks ago. As I understand it, it was initially a tool posted on the Bush-Cheney campaign site that would allow Dawn and other Bush supporters to do just what she did. Using it for anti-Bush statements was not its intended use! (But I did think it was funny.)

That may be your experience, but it doesn't seem to reflect what's actually happening. According to a recent poll, 12% of Democrats plan to vote for President Bush, and only 6% of Republicans plan to vote for Senator Kerry.

Hi, Douglas! I'd be interested in seeing that poll! Can you point me in that direction? Thanks!

Although it doesn't really negate what I've said about Republicans who don't support Bush--a lot of the Republicans I know who aren't supporting Bush haven't decided what they are going to do when it comes time to vote--vote for Kerry, vote for Nadar, write in a candidate, or simply not vote at all. So the poll results (re: Republicans; the Democrat stats do surprise me) don't really surprise me.
