The Halloween Sail date was one I had initially picked, and that was 6 months ago! Then, I changed my mind. Well, at the discounted price and the on board credit, I am willing to try the Wish again. I really liked the Treasure, so maybe I am ready to see Wish again.

Just booked Aug 1 - 3 night Wish to tack on to my WDW vacation. I downgraded my WDW hotel from Savannah view at AKL to Pop to help balance the budget. The evening extra hours that week are 6-8 pm at AK instead of Wednesday night at MK. Now I will be gold for my Oct Treasure sailing.

Grabbed a Sept 15-19th OGT Rate ($1854 for 2 adults with $250 in Stateroom Credit). We are on the Magic the 19th-24th so it will be our first Side by Side.

It is a really good price for DCL even before the $250. Anyone else sailing with us?

Nice! Did you cancel and rebook to at least get the $250 in credit? When I called 2 PM to book they still even had early dining available (Not a good fit for us) but I am sure the ship will fill fast with this offer. Maybe we can say hi onboard (I am waiting for approval to join the FB group)

It is possible the Wish was overpriced and needs discounts to hit its target income.

It is also possible the Wish hit its target income with the current pricing and bookings, and DCL is using discounts to fill the ship and get even more income.

It is also possible the Wish hit its target income with the current pricing and bookings, and DCL is using discounts to fill the ship and get even more income.

It is possible, but the number of summer discounts, FL discounts, now DVC Discounts, and Visa discounts make me think that may not be the case... It certainly feels far more promotional than DCL has been over the past couple of years.

But, to your point, they are, for now, primarily targeting these promotions to the Wish... so maybe it is just a matter of filling the final few seats...

The offer is for *GT rates, which cannot be used with a placeholder and must be paid in full at the time of booking so it cannot be transferred to a TA. But you could probably book it directly through a TA (Costco).
