Which of the following plans would most appeal to you for the week after Thanksgiving?

(1) WL-AKL-BC-Poly, first night dinner at Whispering Canyon
(2) Poly-AKL-BC-WL, first night dinner at 'Ohana
(3) Poly-AKL-BC-CR, first night dinner at 'Ohana

Assume 2 nights at each resort for a total of 8 nights.

Is there an option for None of the above? I like to experience different resorts as well, but that's a lot of packing and unpacking over 8 days. However, I'd go with option 1 or 2 since you'd get both WL and Polynesian.

I gotta to say none also. I would do WL & BC. why WL I have heard is awesome during the Holidays & BC so I could stay at an Epcot resort. But I would still do Ohana on the first night just take the boat to CR & Monorail to Poly. I have to ride the Monorail my first night at WDW.

As a hotel hopping enthusiast, I will tell you that two nights each is too short a time. Take it to two resorts, four nights each.

And unless you are getting in very early in the day, plan nothing for dinner with a cancel fee!

I love split stays, and we usually do a two-way split, but I would never do a four-way split. The reason being, that transition days are a bit of a pain. I don't mind the packing and unpacking, but I do mind having to wait between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to have a room ready to relax in.

I would limit it to 2 and for that time of year- Wilderness Lodge and Beach club. They both had awesome decorations. When we were there that time of year, poly and CR hardly had any decorations. I would still visit Animal Kingdom Lodge (the lobby alone is worth a visit) and I would eat dinner at Boma's.

If I had to Choose only from that list, I'd choose option 2 ... You wouldn't want to miss out on WL ... it's breath taking

I'm doing YC(3)-GF(2)-WL(3) starting next Friday

Sounds like you are not one of us "split stay enthusiasts" :rotfl2:

No, I am. We actually do it every year, whether it be 2 Disney Resorts, or a Universal then Disney Resort. But 4 in 8 days? That'd be a bit much for me.

Yeah ... I hear you .... we're only doing 3 in eight nights this trip ... :lmao:

I think 2 is enough either 4/4 or 3/5 but I would not try to stay at 4, plus you lose acess to a room for several hours since check out is hours before roooms are garunteed. Last trip our new room was not available until after 4 pm and we got stuck in a rain down pour and had to go to dinner in damp clothes since we did not have time to go change once our room was finally ready.

I agree with everyone else that it is alot of moving around with only staying at each resort for 2 nights, but choosing from your list, I would go with option 1 or 2. I would be torn with ending with the Poly (which is our favorite resort) or the WL (which is amazing all decorated for Christmas :santa:). But any combination would be good as they are all great resorts (although we've never stayed at the CR).

I love split stays, but I only do them on longer stays of 10+ days. And stick with 2 resorts. I like at least 5 days at each resort to really get a feel for them.

So I would do 2 resorts, an MK resort, & BC. So you'd get to stay at 2 great resort areas. IMO doing 4 resorts- 2 days each, you really won't feel like you're staying at any of them, just moving around a lot. You could accomplish the same thing by just visiting them. But that's just me.

LOOOOOOVE split stays but would never attempt what you have planned -- too much in too little time, in my opinion.

Having said that, I would def pick an option with the CR as it is our favorite resort for so many reasons.

Good luck!

We did 4 resorts in 10 days last year the week ater Thanksgiving and vowed never again. We like split stays, but this was too much. I've learned that I don't actually like tacking one more night at a different resort on to the beginning or end of the trip.

We went to both WL and Poly, so I would vote for 1 or 2 as well. I agree with leaving Ohana for later in the week though, since you have to cc guarantee it.

Same with us. We usually do 2 resorts in a 10-12 day period.

One time we did 3 resorts....that was too much.

But if I had to choose - #2 is my choice.
