Paul,

I've seen your question on the Universal forum. I haven't replied on that thread for my own reasons, but I just wanted to reassure you a little.

Your wife will be fine if you pick the shows and attractions carefully. The Bill and Ted show, for example is hilarious. The 'carnival' parade which starts the evening off is good fun, and there are several other non-scary attractions (for example, in 1998 we saw a Cirque du Soleil style show).

As far as the scare actors go, we found that acting totally non-plussed is the key to getting them to move on to someone else - there's just no sport in it for them. If you run away screaming they will come after you all the more!

Whatever happens, don't let your wife go into one of the haunted mazes - dh is still traumatised to this day!

Your DH was traumatised ? Looks like DW will be giving the haunted mazes a wide "birth" then :D

Deb, thanks for the sound advice. I am sure we will really enjoy our HHN experience.

Regards

Paul

PS I don't know what day you leave ?? but if its after i get back on the 11th, i will try and post some HRH stuff, with pics.
