It's in my time zone!!!

I love that I don't have to be awake at 3AM to catch my favorite event live! Or that I have to think for a second when start time says 7:30PM and what time that actually is here... it's 7:30PM.



I know it may seem silly, especially given that a lot of DISers are on the east coast but it's nice to have something say the actual time it starts opposed to 12PM eastern. It's overly simple math but I know you people on mountain time and pacific time know what I mean.

Umm, yeah, I'm in your time zone, but the prime time coverage here...is TAPE DELAYED. It's live on the EAST COAST, not here, sorry to say. You (we) are not seeing the live events, unless you are watching something that begins at 5:00 pm our time. I don't know if there are channels here that are broadcasting it in real time, and if there are, and that's what you are referring to...I apologize.

But the prime time coverage West Coast...not live.

Yep, it's all delayed for us. East Coast saw everything 3 hours before we did.

They say they did it because 3/4 of the population is OUT of the pacific (and Hawaii) time zones, so they make the majority happy. And they don't make the people "over there" stay up really really late.

I love that it's in our time zone, but I am so fed up with having to wait HOURS to actually watch everything when I've been following results live online. Makes me want to tear my hair out.

The best part about it for me, is that this time we are watching them on a brand new HD TV and it is absolutely amazing!! The picture and color is simply outstanding, not to mention how thrilling everything is. And Vancouver is stunningly beautiful. I am loving it all!!
