Hey all!
Add me to the on-property snobs...but I got it even worse...now I'm a DVC snob, too...however, if I could actually live in a house near Disney that would be awesome!!!!
Yes, I'm jealous of DMM but so happy for her.
UJ -- sorry to hear about all the house problems...no a microwave should not sound like a garbage disposal!!
Our furniture issues are just unusual, I guess. No one can agree as to who owns the furniture, what costs have been incurred, who owes whom what, etc. Right now there are 3 parties involved -- me, the credit card company and the furniture company. I'm hoping to find some answers on Tuesday. Court date is set for January but I really hope we can settle it beforehand.
When we hadn't heard anything from them for 2 months, I thought it was settled...oh well, what's life without some stress in it??
I went to Barnes and Noble today and got my Kingdom Keepers books. Yes both of them. I am sure I will like them. I like Ridley Pearson. Loren and Kody both really enjoyed Peter and the Starcathers that he wrote with Dave Barry.Hmmm, going to bed early or watching your family play a fishing game...I'll take door #3, please!

I would think the credit card company would be on your side. You don't need to stress over this.I went to Barnes and Noble today and got my Kingdom Keepers books. Yes both of them. Yep, the cc company is on our side ... at least verbally...but when I asked for something in writing, they sent me a note that said to "consult a lawyer"...guess they are now playing CYA.
That's why I am here now. Scotty and Loren are now playing a WWII game. Flying planes and shooting guns. Man stuff.![]()

Lovely. Isn't that nice of them. Thankfully your DH's company has that help for you.
How are DH and DD?

My DH would love that. He's always playing those types of games on his computer, too.
We got out all our Xmas stuff tonight and DD started decorating the lower half of the tree. It was so cool to watch and she was a huge help, too! She is sooo excited about Christmas this year.
I told DH that we are in for some really exciting Christmases these next few years -- kids will believe in Santa Claus and be all excited about it.
Today DD told me she was "both naughty and nice". I told her that Santa wants her to be nice all the time ... and yes, I did the "Santa brings presents to good little boys and girls, so you better be good"...
Somehow I really don't think this will make any difference in her behavior...![]()
Yeah, just lovely (re: the CC company).
DH is starting to get stressed at work -- I take this as a good thing b/c that means he's really getting into the trenches of the job...(or at least that's the spin I told him!)
DD is having a harder time with being 3 years old than 2. I think our 2's were really pretty good but we have more temper tantrums now that she is 3. It's not like a full-blown temper but we'll tell her to do something and she'll whine and cry "help me" ... and it's something we all know she can do anyway like go up the stairs or take off her shoes. But she turns into this helpless creature and says she is a baby.
If we help her, then all is pretty good. But that just encourages her to whine and cry and continue the "I'm a baby" thing.
I figure this has something to do with baby #2?? and she isn't even here yet...what's gonna happen when #2 arrives??![]()
I thought with all three kids that three was worse than two. I never really understood the terrible two's thing. It was a case of the horrible three's for all three of mine. But I will tell you that when Loren was born Kacy was three and it was like an instant grow up when he was born becuase she didn't want to be a baby like he was.
Oh, this is a good thing to hear!
Did Kacy like to help you take care of Loren? I'm hoping DD turns into a little mommy's helper!
Ok, heading out for a quick snack -- Honeycrisp Apples! My new craving food with this baby.
If anyone wants to add their input to my mom dilemma (including telling me I'm being a brat), please do. I guess I'm not thinking straight on this one and being a bit emotional ... maybe it's the hormones.
Oh, and I didn't mention we live 3 hours away by car from each other. So easily travelled in one day.
I agree with Michele. You don't need to be stressing over this right now.Hey all!

I was worried about that with both the boys, but they seemed to both be fine with the birth of their younger siblings.Yeah, just lovely (re: the CC company).

You're not being a brat. Sometimes I don't know what I'd do without having my mom around. My husband was not much of a help at all with any of the surgeries I had. If it hadn't have been for my mom, I don't know what I would have done. I know you're not in that same spot, but everybody needs help for different reasons. I don't think you're asking too much.Ok, heading out for a quick snack -- Honeycrisp Apples! My new craving food with this baby.

Marshay, your dad is being selfish and a big baby. Your mom should want to be with you and kids incl. newborn for at least a week. Tell mom to woman up......make some meals in advance for dad....or tell him to eat out....tell him to come for 3 days then go home, tell him mom will be home 4 days later !!!!
It might happen to me, I dont know.......DW is away right now for the weekend with girls, shopping & casino.....Yep, I miss her...she is my best friend, my girlfriend and my wife.......But I will survive.....she is having fun, I go on my mancave with the guy weekends too......but we always look forward to seeing eachother........then after a week we go back to wanting to choke eachother out !!!!!! LOL, Hey, I was getting too mushie!!!!![]()
