Hi Everyone. It's a gorgeous day today 76 degrees and sunny. My oldest and dearest friend came and she and her sister and I went to Magic Kingdom. They are filming the Disney Christmas Parade today and they had areas roped off with an audience waiting that are going to be the audience in the parade. I saw the stage and the set up and that's cool. We went on a few rides and walked around and saw the decorations. I am home now waiting for Bryan and after he gets in and relaxes a little we are going back to Epcot to see the countries and the Illuminations. Hopefully we'll go again tomorrow as we talked about doing that this weekend. We want to head over to DHS and see the back lot light show where it starts at dark and it snows and all. I also heard someone say about seeng the osborne lights, is that the same thing? Help me here? I don't know these things.

yes, the Osbourne lights are the same place in DHS where they have "fake" snow. It's about 2, maybe 3 blocks long with lots of little stuff to see.

Go slow (the crowd will try to move you along) and savor the lights. At the end there was this christmas tree lot and person selling the christmas trees (not for real)...it's a mini-show. Ask the CM questions...it was cute. I hope it's still there and not part of the cut-backs.

I hope you all enjoy the Kingdom Keepers books -- I am.

OK, got served a court summons today regarding this furniture debacle (our infamous dining room furniture)...so going to a lawyer on Tuesday to see if the law is on our side or not...luckily legal resources are covered (in part) through DH's work benefits. This whole thing is ridiculous with everyone pointing fingers at everyone else...it'll be nice to just have some answers -- whether we are right or wrong, so I'm hoping for some clarity on Tuesday.

The books are pretty good...they are meant for teens/pre-teens but I enjoy them! Also, I end up reading just before sleeping so I have some great and vivid Disney dreams!

I have been thinking about getting my hair trimmed and highlighted recently. I want to get it done before Scotty's company Christmas party. Now I have a real problem with his company. They are laying the employees off for three weeks this month and they are spending thousands on a party at the local Hilton. We are luckier than most because we had money in savings we can use but there are others that may lose their homes. They went so far as to offer "discounted" rooms to the employees. Bite me.

I am a mean Mom. I was checking the books out on the Barnes and Noble website before school and Loren got real excited. "oh Mommy I need a new book to read." I told him he could read them after me. Yep, mean.

I have vowed I will not complain anymore about our cold. It is 37 here right now. I am not worthy.

DMM, I was about to tell you you suck....going to MK and all, and the warm temp. as I look out my window at SNOW !!! BUT then I realized that wouldnt be very nice......so.....I'm jealous......plain and simple......

Marshay, I know how you feel....We are having problems with our new house and the builder....I'm fed up.......too many things wrong....just noticed the counter top in the master bathroom is de-laminating...its coming a part.....just several days after we found the leak in the garden tub and it was raining in our garage.....through the dry wall.........UJ is not happy.....
LOWEs is coming out Monday to settle on the kitchen floor that was installed wrong.......and a repair man on the NEW microwave that sounds like a garbage disposal when you turn it on....nice huh??

Sad to say cuz I'm from Michigan and always try to buy "MADE IN USA", I always buy one of the big 3 car manuf......BUT.....I hope the Chinese, Koreans or Japanese start building houses.......I'LL BUY!!!!

My sons (15) girlfriend came over tonight with a baby....I said "What the heck is that?" She told me it was her baby.....I said "What thu?"
She has one of those mechanical babies she has to take care of for her health class in high school. She has it for the whole weekend.......
That thing is crying all the time.....it is hillarious......It keeps her and my son from making out !!!! She has to feed it until it says " COO COO", then she puts it down for a bit and it will cry within 15 minutes......It also goes on at night time, she wont get any sleep this weekend !!!!! I asked her if I could take it to disney !!!!!

Was talking to a lady from Detroit area through work.....she wanted info on Disney.....I'm the state of Michigan employees expert......known throughout the state......I gave her a bunch of info......she wants to stay in a house close to Disney..... some people just dont get it!! I try to eplain it to her, it just aint clicking with her.....You can only do so much!!!

UJ -- sorry to hear about all the house problems...no a microwave should not sound like a garbage disposal!!

Our furniture issues are just unusual, I guess. No one can agree as to who owns the furniture, what costs have been incurred, who owes whom what, etc. Right now there are 3 parties involved -- me, the credit card company and the furniture company. I'm hoping to find some answers on Tuesday. Court date is set for January but I really hope we can settle it beforehand.

When we hadn't heard anything from them for 2 months, I thought it was settled...oh well, what's life without some stress in it??
