Weirdos?? (I are a disney weirdo) I was at court the other day and saw a Sgt. from another PD, I knew his wife and he just had a baby....I went over to congratulate him....he had another officer with him.......I told him he would have to wait a few years and take the kid to Disney...he told me they were going next year.......with his wife's side of the family (big family trip). I started talking about Disney.......the other officer just got off a Disney cruise about a month earlier. He started trying to quiz me about the world (I chewed him up!!!!)

We stood there talking about Disney for 45 minutes.....the other officer told me at the end of the conversation...."you know your dept. probably has some sort of counseling program you can get in to" !!!! I just laughed.......the Sgt. told me he will get a hold of me when they get closer to going.....I told him I would give him all my tips and maps of all the parks......!!!!!!

now life is just downright cruel. Here I am up visiting and I come down with Bronchitis and have to stay away from everyone for 24 hours so I'm sitting in my camper all alone and lonely. This is not fair, I'm only here for a week, why couldn't I be sick on the way home?

Try to look on positive side. At least it is almsot end of your trip. You have had almost entire full week of healthiness

Usually we sit stationary and observe traffic going by, it is very easy to see if someone has the belt on or not...(usually). Of course as someone is pulled over they put it on......I've been doing it long enough I can usually get someone to admit not wearing it......or I tell them I watched them put it on in their mirror......I reallly like the person who goes by and all of a sudden they see me and have to rub their left shoulder with the right arm....or itch their arm........it is funny....I usually wave at them!!!
Seatbelt tickets are $65 in Mi, no points on the license.

Dangit! I'm always in the minority with the country music thing. Then again, I don't even know who/what Liquid Metal is.

Actually, I think I'm in the minority around here. Probably Mustard and Chele and maybe Carla and Cheri sometimes are the only ones who know what I'm talking about. Of course Steph does like Disturbed. I'm not sure anybody knows what I'm talking about if I start talking about the really obscure HEAVY heavy metal bands. Which I tend to do often, so I pretty much just ramble to myself. Liquid Metal is just the name of one of the stations I listen to on Sirius Radio. I pretty much just stick with the Rock stations on my Sirius. If I turn on the Top 40 station, I have no idea what the heck is going on.

Forgot to say:

Tat -- no theme park is planned at the Maryland site...just a convention center type hotel. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it had a nice pool area and mini-arcade like DisneyQuest. There should be a water launch that takes you over to Old Town.

Darnit! That stinks. It would have been nice having a park so close. I don't need a resort there! But a Disney Quest thing might be okay, although they need to get done with it soon because it won't be long until my children are too old for that.

OH, and that Hippo story? Unbelievable.

couldn't they just cut the hippo open or something??

It was probably in a tabloid or something. How many circus dwarfs are swallowed by hippos on a regular basis?

My butthead, I mean husband, never wears his. I always tell him he's going to get pulled over but he NEVER listens to me. I'm not paying his fine when he gets a ticket. And I'm not paying any of the other bills he is in charge of that he can't afford to pay because his dumb behind got a ticket. I always wear my seatbelt. I actually feel weird without it on.

And you know that same butthead got a (something like) $750 fine in VA one time for reckless driving. We had to go back to Williamsburg, which is a 7 hour drive, and go to court for it and everything. I can't remember what he did anymore, but he thought he was going to get out of it. Well he didn't and we were stuck with this fine. And it was back when we had tiny babies, so we were really poor. Somebody remind me again why this is the person I want helping me drive to Florida next month.
