I'm quoting this so I can easily find this later to look at when I get home. I can't see anything that is linked from myspace or facebook.

I've been seeing that commercial and I SO want one! I know that my mom doesn't like strawberries or canteloupe (the main fruits on those) so I couldn't get one for her. But I made a point to mention it in the car on the way to dinner when DH was sitting next to me. I said "Mom, I have been seeing those edible arrangements commercials and I wanted to get you one but it seems they only make them with fruit you don't like. They look SO good though!" HINT HINT DH...

My birthday is coming up next month--wonder if I'll get one?

You guys....I'm beside myself with excitement right now! I just found out that the Miami Dolphins (my FAVORITE Pro Football team) will be playing the Atlanta Falcons AT the GA Dome the day before my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sept. 13th) I'm SOSOSOSOSOOOOOOOO going to that game!!!! I haven't seen my boys play live and in person since the year before Marino retired (I think that was '98 or '99. I'm SO freakin' excited!!! And last season the Dolphins had such a good season so I'm really hoping that this year is even better. I may even go and see them play on December 20th in TN if they are having a good season (that's the last regular season game). God I can't wait!!!

Playdate was fine. Yes, that mom was there and we all had a picnic lunch. I just told Rachel to stay on our blanket while eating since we had cheese on our sandwich and cheese chips. Nothing was said and it all worked out. Most importantly, Rachel had lots of fun with the other kids.

Glad to hear it. How nice for Rachel to be able to play with her friends and that was a great way to eat what you want and not let it have an effect on that other family.

So tonight I sit down to watch American Idol on our DVR and can't find it. I'm REALLY starting to panic and get upset. I totally can't believe that FIOS messed up the recording.

Then DH says, are you sure it's on?

I'm like YES! It's on every Tuesday and Wednesday.

But I'm so relieved. Yes, it's silly to be addicted to a show like that ....

Oh I totally hear you!!

I still have to decide if I want to get Idol tickets or not for when they come to DC (if they have any left). I'm worried about getting a babysitter since we don't have any regular sitters and DH's family who is only 20 minutes away is sort of iffy about babysitting. They'll help out in an emergency but rarely volunteer for anything so I always feel bad asking them.

bummer on no regular sitters! I say ask away....hehe

So, I went with my sil, niece, nephew and Trent to a few stores to help my niece find a dress for her cotillion(sp??)


There are so many cute dresses out there, I wanna go



WE only went to two stores......she got one on sale for $30.00


I am not good at describing...but is deep purple and black with spaghetti straps.


it is fitted at top and flirty at the bottom, meaning you can twirl it

Then we went to a place called Che Burger Che Burger for dinner


It is soooooooooooooo good

They have like 50 toppins, free that you can put on your burgers


No lying, but actually have peanut butter as one of the choices



They have flavored sodas and like 50 different shakes to choose from



so good

THey were going to stop, but Bryan had taken a nap earlier and is wide awake


They are in West Virginia. They should be stopping soon

I gotta leave in a few minutes to take Elie for our 2 month check-up today and she starts the round of shots. UGH...poor baby!!

She is 2 months old today so I put her in the outfit that DD3 had worn when she was 2 months old and took some pictures. Now I want to compare the 2 photos...see if they look alike!

I can't wait to see!

I was actually looking at your pictures from your TR and your DS doesn't resemble your DH. He looks more like you and your DD.

My friend's 2nd child.....that's the one I'd be thinking was switched at birth. She has curly brown hair and blue eyes. My friend has blonde hair and hazle eyes and her DH has brown hair but it's not curly.

oh that article was crazy! They seemed to take it well though. I think I'd have made the hospital pay for the counseling--just to have them pay for SOMETHING for what they did. Obviously God wanted it to happen that way for a reason but still...

I think that's neat that Kacy is getting really into politics at her age. I didn't become interested in it or really pay attention to it until after I got married (I was 21 y/o at the time).

I think it is an age thing. I was that way when I was younger but I was older than Kacy is. I raised them to be interested in politics and voting because is California so many young people do not vote and I want to make sure that at least mine do.

Well, as of 6 am this morning, they arrived in PA...not sure of the town, just somewhere in the boonies(no offense Niiki )


THey took a 2 hr nap and then visited with his mom and then went to Five guys for dinner


Tonight she had the pleasure of meeting up with Nikki and her kids there

Shane had a ball practice I think and they came aftewards for about an hr


They are having the meet on Friday still with Betsy, too


I can not post pics from my phone or email them. So I texted Nikki the pics, in hope she would put it up

AI was interesting lastnight. Adam was wonderful and I was going to vote for him and tried until a little after 10 could not get through and I fell asleep trying. I just hope he doesn't end up getting eliminated. Not that anyone else was that great but you know.

oh I'm definitely not worried about him being eliminated. And I didn't even vote. I decided it's not worth it this season. I am not really attached to any of the contestants like I've been in the past. I actually like Kris and feel like he's underappreciated though. I honestly think he's the most marketable and they will find a way to get him to the finale with Adam...

Yes, she's VERY repetitive. I always find myself talking to the television when she speaks. She goes on and on and ON. I use lots of explicatives when I'm yelling at her to shut up.

OK, so I'm in a funk today.

I was talking to my sis about DH not doing anything for Mom's day. She mentioned that I should at least get 2 extra days at Disney for that. It was a joke. I told that to DH this morning and laughed. Instead he gets all upset and tells me that I should just "drop it...it's a sore subject for him!"

Well, I stood there shocked. So I said that I understand he is embarrassed or mad that he forgot mom's day but what was he going to do? Just hide it and pretend it didn't happen?

I told him that I'm sure he still has something planned so I've been patient these last few days ....

No response.

Then I told him that he really hurt me...of all years to remember Mom's day and do something nice, this would be the one. Then I just went crying to take a shower since he didn't say anything.

Next thing I hear the garage door going up and he left to go to work.



I thought I was over it as long as he was still planning to do something. But now I find out he was just not going to do anything and it p&*#% me off.

We haven't talked all day now...I'm dreading when he comes home...
