Pennsylvania is an all important state....

I believe the Nation will be better off with John Kerry as President...

so, I've been doing volunteer work....and will continue to do so through Election Day....

Just thought I'd drop in to let everyone know myself and my wife are in the Kerry/Edwards camp too. Theres two more saying its time for a change.


Our ballots are already sent via absentee, We are leaving to spend Halloween at the "Magic Place" in 8 hours. I know there is an argument waiting for me in the morning after my dw sees my laptop being loaded with the other luggage............
................think if I offer her one of those brownies she'll settle down?

I've been watching this thread from the beginning and want to thank everyone for their posts.

Crazy for Goofy--I grew up in Prairie Village. I notice a lot of Kerry signs near my son's preschool on Nall and near Prairie Village Shopping---so much different than when I was growing up. I graduated from SM East in 1981, but I taught at SM North and West and know a lot of the East teachers from more recent years.

I do have to say that I'm pretty impressed with Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and Rep. Dennis Moore. It's sign that the Kansas Republican party is severely split between the moderates and the far-right conservatives. Unfortunately the Kansas Legislature is BIG mess, and the Ks. Board of Regents is going to revisit the evolution issue again. What a waste.

Darn, I haven't gotten my "special" brownies baked or I'd make sure some were waiting for you in the Magic! Glad you're with us. My hope and prayer is that there are millions and millions and millions just like you.

The PP people gave away free green balloons and was a favorite stop for families with children. The pro-life people would protest about 10 feet away with giant pictures of dead fetuses. Each time I saw them, bigger and bigger every week with my unborn child, I would walk up to them, show my belly and tell them "My child. My choice". Then I would take out a $5 bill and tell them "Because you are here, Planned Parenthood gets another $5 from me!"

Oh Robin, that's great. I've spent a few very happy Saturdays at the Dane County Farmers Market (my sister lives in Madison) and those knuckleheads are familiar to me.
