Yes, ignore is a wonderful thing. And the funny thing is, the two people who keep trying to horn in here, are the only two people I have ever put on ignore, and they have been there since the old DB days. Unfortunately, I have this little problem with my computer. If I remain idle on the DIS for any length of time, it signs me out. So the posts I have ignored become visible to me until I log in again. Does anyone else have to log in over and over again?

You can believe whatever you choose to believe. Please do not post half truths listed with my name. Be clear that I said I was undecided as to whether I would vote for Colin Powell as a write in candidate as I have done in the past or to vote for George Bush. I have stated many times I would not vote for John Kerry.

Yes, the responses in this forum and hatred and nastiness I have read by democrat posters here influenced my vote. My apology Colin Powell, I almost voted for you again.

NBC is doing a report on the Pentagon whistleblower, Ms. Greenhouse who is getting demoted because of her questions and problems with some Haliburton contracts! She's talking publicly now not because of the election but because she was notified of the demotion and she's not going to take it lying down.

I know the Bush-Cheney campaign occasionally requires the people who attend its events to sign loyalty oaths, but this was the first time I have ever seen an audience actually stand and utter one. Maybe they've replaced the written oath with a verbal one.

It occurs to me that anyone who keeps posting here even though no one is reading his posts has a real problem. We have this thread because we want to discuss the election with like minded people and not be constantly arguing. They have their thread for the same reason.

Why would anyone keep crossing over into the other camp's thread. There is only one reason. That person is more interested in arguing than in discussing the issues. Now I ask you....how desperate is that?

Talk about women in action! I just got an e-mail from a group here in Austin called MOB (Mothers Opposed to Bush). They are offering free childcare on election day for anyone who is volunteering or needs a hour to get away to the polls.

I wish I didn't have to work that day so I could volunteer. I agree with everyone else- it should be a national holiday.
