Ok, so I have an ulterior motive here - there are two things I regret from our last trip 1)that I didn't stop to smell the roses and actually soak in the whole Disneyland feeling more (I was in too much of a hurry to make sure we did everything), and 2) that I didn't EAT MORE!!
I just got through the "food porn" thread, and it looks like there are so many yummy things I didn't even see when we were there, much less try!

So far, on my list of "things I MUST eat at DL:

Baked Potato soup @ Carnation Cafe
Tigger Tails....many many many tigger tails....
Dole Whip
fries from Taste Pilot's:yay:
fried chicken from Plaza Inn (is it as yummy as I remember)
pineapple from the fruit carts
one of those frozen lemonade in a cup things from the carts (saved my life last year when I was incredibly hot after hoofing it up to get FP's for GRR and running back to PP in time to meet dh and kids....)

Am I the only one suffering from a gastric addiction to DL? What do you HAVE to eat?? (and what should I add to my list??:goodvibes )

For me it is:

Bengal BBQ
Fried Chicken from Plaza Inn (or anything from Plaza Inn, actually)

That's all I can think of right now! Argh!

I don't have a list yet.. my trip is in March, but I just wanted to say
"thanks for starting it" and
Where are the Dole whips?

Chimichanga from the cart
Fried chicken from the Plaza Inn
Loaded baked potato soup from Carnation
Pomme Frittes from The New Orleans Cafe
Cotton Candy from a cart in DCA

In no particular order:

1) Pomme Frittes from Cafe Orleans
2) Monte Cristo from Cafe Orleans
3) Loaded Baked Potato Soup from Carnation Cafe (my new favorite)
4) Chicken Fusilli from Red Rockett's Pizza Port
5) Coconut Macaroon drizzled with chocolate from Blue Ribbon Bakery (my other new favorite!)

Man...I am HUNGRY!!! :rotfl:

My first trip ever is planned for June, and i can not wait to EAT! My must haves are:
soup bread bowls(chowder, and baked potato)
turkey legs,
the fried chicken,
the pirate cookie boat,
the mickey mouse waffles...and i am surethere will be much much more

thanks "momof2boys1girl" I love eating them at WDW, now need to find them at DL. I'll be watching this Thread, Dissers know were to find the good stuff!;)

We tried to do too much on our trip last year and ended up not doing enough too!!

We are doing all Disneyland/DCA this year.

On our list of things to eat :

Blue Bayou (reservations made for dinner!!)
Tigger Tails (again - plus I need to buy around 8 extra to bring home for different people)
Giant chocolate strawberry (again - DS loved his last year)
Bengal BBQ (bacon wrapped asparagus - missed that last year)
Tinkerbell Twist (from the cart - I read about that here on the Dis)
Dole Whip (completely missed that AND the Tiki Room last year)
La Brea Bakery (at DTD - for hotel room munchies!)
Blue Ribbon Bakery (for caramel corn! I wanted some so bad last year, but didn't get any....)

And we may take a taxi to In & Out and grab a burger, as we don't have that restaurant here.

Monte Cristo at Blue Bayou (only served during lunch)
Caramel Corn at DCA

Yum!

Monte Cristo at the Blue Bayou or Cafe Orleans
Dole Pineapple Whip or Float
Chocolate Ice Cream in a Waffle Bowl from Gibson Girl
Croissant sandwich and Potato Soup from Carnation Cafe
Chicken Fusilli from Redd Rocket's Pizza Port
Broccoli Cheese Soup in a Sourdough Breadbowl from Pacific Wharf

Of course, these are all must eats only if you have multiple days at DL. If it just 1 day, definitely the Ice Cream.

I always love these food threads!:lovestruc

I love me a Dole Whip....Mmmmmm
A Mickey rice krispie treat and hot cocoa while watching parades
Corn Dog
A meal from Plaza Inn (a must)
lemon icee
fruit from the cart next to Jungle Cruise

There is more, but that's the main ones. Food always tastes better in the Land!

Carnation Cafe Baked Potato soup
Frozen Bananna
Gibson Girl ice cream
Mickey Pretzal
Fudge...ohhhh Disneyland fudge

my Disney Food musts are:
at Cafe Orleans-
Onion soup and a side salad (with candied pecans and yummy raspberry dressing)
The Ratatoulle

at Rancho Del Zocolo-
Cheese enchiladas or
The Hacienda Chicken Caesar salad
and the most amazing fruit for dessert.
Hot chocolate from the Blue Ribbon Bakery
Sugar free chocolate covered pretzels from Poohs Corner
Popcorn. popcorn:: Seriously its the best popcorn I have ever had.
When I ate sugar, I would have the chocolate chip cookies from BRB too. But , alas, my love affair with sugar has ended and we have broken up. but if you eat sugar, please, get the cookies!! You will not be disappointed!

I only do day trips so my food must have switch sometimes;

#1 lately the Caprese sandwhich at WCT and the bread with sundried tomato butter

Veggie Gumbo or Chili in a bread bowl

FREE Tortillas!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always a must!

I did have a carmel apple fixation for a long time but ate one too many :rotfl: But I think I might need one next time.

Ok, I'll bite.... (:goodvibes - pardon the pun)

What's a Tigger Tail?

I've only been on DIS since the fall, so January was my first trip to WDW where I went prepared with a "must try" food list. And at that, I still didn't manage to fit in a Dole Whip (remind me not to travel with a big group again :crazy2: )

But this May will be just me and my husband at DLR (for the first time  ), so Dole Whip, here I come!

But something named "Tigger Tail" certainly sounds interesting.
