I'll tell you this. I haven't been a Bush fan for the past 8 years - couldn't wait for him to leave office - and I'm certainly not an Obama fan but I'm not leaving the country over it.

That poster is a great person. And that poster is not here to "defend" himself against the judgment.

Although I'm not that poster, I'll say...

We have an OS on this message board that has refused to even live in the United States while Bush is president. That's how much he hates the man. I'm assuming that he'll be returning to the US at some point in the future now that Obama is elected?

The truth is that Clinton was slammed and then Bush was slammed and now it will be Obama's turn. I just think it's unfortunate that Obama is getting so much criticism when he hasn't even taken office yet.

I'm curious if you've even heard of Al Gore or remember that election. I'm still dying to know how you think Obama being "bashed" prior to his election is some kind of new phenomenon. If you "know what you're talking about," how can you not remember that election?

I would love to see him succeed, because that will mean the country is moving forward.

But the people he's choosing is not change, not even close.
