Barry - Do you know if you can show your PBH room key at the HRH parking lot and avoid paying the 6.00 fee? I'll already be paying to park at PBH, and want to visit friends at HRH. Have you ever walked between the two hotels? I'll have 2 small kids with me - Thanks -

The walk from the PBH to the HRH is about ten minutes ... you can also take the boat if they're running (I don't think they always run between the hotels).

You can't just "show your key" at the HRH because the gates are totally automatic, no gate attendant to show your key to (the gates to the lot are separate from the gatehouse, unlike the RPR where they are at the same place).

The answer is there is no charge and no time limit. And I had to be passed around three times before I got the answer!

I think what Robin is saying is that they key readers supposedly will take a key from any hotel. The thing is, at the RPR the gates and the gate house are in the same spot, and the attendant can open the gate for you anyway. At the HRH and PBH, the key readers to get in the self-parking lots do not have an attendant ... as long as they accept the key you're fine.

All that being said, if you're staying at the PBH and going to the HRH, it's hardly worth driving. By the time you go to your car in the PBH, load the kids and everything else up, drive over to the HRH, unload the kids and everything else, you probably could have just walked ...
