For all you moms out there...and dads too!

I just have to share the "little moment" that I had with DS.

DH was trying to tell me something before he heads off to work and DS (2.9) kept saying "Mommy, Mommy..." I told him to wait one second and then when I said "What is it Honey?" He responded with a big hug and "You're my best friend!" Needless to say I cried!

Aw, how sweet. Just when I get irritated with my 3 yr. old, he says or does something to make me smile.

That is so sweet! My 2 and 1/2 year old has started to say "I love you mommy"...out of the blue! It is the best feeling!!

It really was sweet. Of course, DH was standing right there and got a little bummed that DS didn't say it to him...but oh well! It's times like this one that I wish I were a SAHM because I could see him even more! But, bills must be paid so I just relish in the times I am with him because he says funny/cute things like that all the time. Perhaps the funniest kid I've ever known!
