I was reading a post on how many pages do you scrapbook for Disney.

I am going for 2 weeks so I know I will have a lot to do. My question is, how many pages can you reasonably fit into a CM book?

I was told 30 but that doesn't seem enough for a 2-week trip. That only allows me 3 pages for MK, AK, Epcot, MGM, Universal, Sea World and a page each for other things (traveling, our home away from home, beach, downtown disney, etc...)

Please let me know as I am very curious.

I have a bunch of completed CM albums and I don't feel comfortable with more than 30 (both sides makes 60) pages in a book. When I'm trying to complete an event or a year or something, I'll go over to a max of 35. After that, I think the books get wobbly and unstable from having too many pages. Actually, if you put paper on most of your pages, that also makes the book a lot fatter. I use paper accents, but I'm not one for using 12 x 12 sheets.

You can put 2 refills PLUS what comes in the album in your book (making 45 pages - 90 front and back). Now if you completely cover the page with paper, etc... then you might want to pull back a little. What I did for my (cough 1 week cough) Disney trip this summer was an 8 1/2 x 11 that was nothing but autographs (about 49 pages or so (front and back)), and a 12 x 12 that I put 3 pages too many in (48 - 96 front and back). It is very large, and I know I pushed it, but I didn't want to split it into 3 albums.

I would suggest around 40 pages total. I have one that has 50 pages and it's really too thick. It's holding up fine, but the spine is forever slipping off.

I actually prefer using more pages, I think the books look nicer "thicker" - BUT I never use a full 12x12 sheet of paper over the page. I only use paper to highlight.

My largest one has 40 (so 80 front and back). I stopped there because I had a lot of memorabilia in it. I have always heard that 45 is the max.

Happy Scrapping :D

I always "wallpaper" my pages instead of using the plain white pages which adds thickness to the page, so in my books I use around 38 pages and its pretty thick.
