http://disneylivecams.com/all-cams/wdw-traffic-cams traffic is not to bad this morning, still early I guess. it was bumper to bumper on Saturday. now I know why I like going in September.
That site is so cool. Thanks for sharing. I'll have to put it in my faves.
Now that we have the condo- the I-4 cam is the one I'd watch. I've learned to LOVE 429 despite all the tolls, it's such a beautiful and stress free drive.
Only 33 more days!!!
I can't wait for the end of the school year, but hate what it comes with- report cards, field trips, and lots of paperwork!!
I will definitely need a vacation!

Headed to Disney in August for birthday celebrations! It'll be our second drive to SE Mass. We left the first time around 2:30-3 am and drove 95 all the way and stopped mid-NC for the night. I'm hoping to make it to SC this time on day 1. Any recommendations for hotels between Dillon and Santee, SC?
Has anyone gotten one of those Wi-Fi hotspots for the car? How do they work and are they worth the $$?
Driving down from Ontario in August. This will be our first time driving!
The springs are nice. HUGE !!! The resort is spread out but very quiet and the buses where great when we stayed there last June. I only stayed in a one bedroom at Saratoga but the studios are basically a hotel room with a frig. Toaster and a microwave. We had fun there. We didn't get to spend as much time at the resort as we wanted to but there was a lot to do. Not as much hoopla as there is at bay lake. The only down side is you can walk to the magic kingdom. Have a nice time!!!!Planning our(DH,DW,DS11,DS14) first "straight thru" trip from the jersey shore. The last 2 years we stopped at Pooler GA exit 104 . We really enjoy dinner at Cheddars there. This year thinking of still stopping there for dinner but no hotel, just hit the road again. Me and DW will share the driving even tho I prefer to drive most of it. Checking in to Saratoga Springs(studio suite) July 13 . It will be our first stay there, we normally stay at bay lake tower. Any advice or similar experience to share? The last 2 years we got in the car and headed out around 3 am.

Prices are starting to move downward by me too, $3.34 again in a few stations. But oil prices appear to be going up, so this may be a short-lived drop!
With I-4 such a mess a lot of the time through Orlando, we bought a SunPass and always check I-4 as we exit I-95 onto I-4. If it's bad, we take FL417 (used to be called the Greenway) around. It adds 10 minutes time but we are finding I-4 adds a half hour too often!
well I checked into the sun pass. I called and they don't recommend the windshield reader for my car. they said my windshield has metal in it and also some kind of uv reflective stuff that makes it hard to read the reader. they said I can use a front license plate sticker but I don't have a front frame on my car and not really interested in putting one on. soooooo after all that, how many rolls of quarters to I need.I was thinking the same thing bill. over the years, we had good luck going through Orlando. the only time I hit any traffic was last june. that slowed us up by about a half hour but I kinda figured it was because we hit it at 4:30pm on a Friday during the summer.
how did you go about getting your sunpass? im assuming you just set it on the dash and you can go through the "fast pass" lanes like you do on the turnpikes?
if all goes well, we should be hitting Orlando around 3:30-4pm in September on a Wednesday but always wanted to check that way out.
thanks for any info.![]()
So I loaded up our fall route in google maps and I am trying to figure out our tolls for the fall. We are taking the "in land" route from Buffalo, through PA, West Virginia to South Carolina etc. In the directions it states
Take exit 57 to merge onto US-19 S
Partial toll road
Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-64 E/Bluefield/I-77 S and merge onto I-64 E/I-77 S
Continue to follow I-77 S
Partial toll road
Entering Virginia
Does anyone know what the cost of these tolls are. I have been trying to figure them out. Thanks

I go 81/77/26 and there are no tolls. there are people on this thread who come down from your area, maybe one of them will be along soon to help you out.

Well that's a bummer about the sun pass. How did they know all that about your car? Do they usually ask what kind of car you have first?
We have a sun pass too.

I started on there web site. they have a nice window reader with suction cups and there was a chart to see if it was recommended for your model car. of course my car wasn't listed. so I called and they said if I had anyone one of these in my windshield they could not say if it would work or not and recommended the one you mount on your front lic. plate. I don't have a front plate mount and don't want one for something I may or may not use. I can just do the quarter toss at the toll booths.any idea how many quarters ill need?
