Northeast NJ, gas is ranging from $2.96 to $3.19. Most around $3.15
Gas in CT is around 3.68 to 3.80 something.
So... does anyone know if I can program a route into the maps app on my iphone 5? I really like the map feature that comes with it- it talks and give turn by turn and it doesn't turn off just because I haven't touched the screen. I'd like to program the inland route from CT to Disney in there.
Thanks!
Our short-time-clock countdown for WDW drive #30 has begun....
All the best.![]()
Vehicle vacuumed and cleaned; gas tank filled; Mickey Mouse antenna fixture positioned in place. Luggage loading follows after dinner. Our countdown continues....All the best.

Going to be leaving in a few hours, we decided to drive through the night instead, still not sure if we will stop or go all the way. I worked an 8 hour day today. We check in on Saturday, must of put the wrong date in my ticker.
I just hate when people find the need to brag about how many times they go to wdw!
(home for three weeks and leaving in 64 days!! 4th trip in 7 months!) and not retired

We've got about an hour to go. Two suitcases in the vehicle; three more bags, a cooler, a food container and a few other assorted items to pack.

So, are we there yet?
We're doing the single digit dance. Right now, our plans are to leave early next Saturday morning (the 26th) around 4 AM, and drive until we get tired. Hoping to make it to Lake City, Florida about 5 PM. However, we'll stop when we get tired.
Anyone know of any good places to stop for the night between Valdosta and Lake City on I-75? We want to make it to the Florida border before stopping; however Lake City may be pushing it.
Lake City is a three hour drive to the World, and we wouldn't have to stop. Valdosta is a four hour drive, and we would probably have to stop. We're hoping to make it into the Magic Kingdom by noon Sunday.
One other problem. We may be limited to two drivers, my DH and myself. DD25 is coming with us; however we are taking DH's new company car. The company is allowing this; however it's just DH and me on the insurance. DD25 is bummed out about it. She complains that she can drive five hours without stopping. DH's limit is about three hours, and mine is about two hours. More stops mean more time to get down there. However, DH and I are getting old, and we need more stops anyway. Stopping every 2 1/2 to 3 hours is good enough.
Besides, I can't imagine her daughter (DGD4) being cooped in in a car seat for five hours straight.
im sure you will be on line but if we don't hear from you, have a great time!!!![]()
I hope to hit route 4 around the orlando area around 9:30 am. Does anyone know what the traffic is around that time of day on a Friday morning?
