Has anyone done the math to see if the Vouchers are worth while, wondering what total price is with taxes. I believe there are 2 versions, 8 or 12 coupons ?

They come in packs of 8 or 16.

8 for 59
16 for 109

They apparently work for anything at the booths that cost 10$ or less.

They don't work for tasting flights though and beers greater than 6 ounces.

Nope, it'll be 59+tax and 109+tax

If you're drinking it might worth it. We don't. I did the math earlier, and for the 16 ticket pass, you're looking at just under $6.90 per item. Definitely not worth it considering most of the food prices.

Keep in mind you also get a (very large) nice pin with that as well. Figure pins like that usually cost around $15 and that brings the pricing down. My son and his GF had fun with the sampler today but agreed that other than getting the steak at Canada that your best value was in getting alcoholic (particularly mixed) drinks.

I guess. That would bring it down to just under $6 per item.

If only I drank!

Watching some youtube videos of people that ran out day one, there appears to be a lot of interesting $5 or near $5 items. I havent' been there yet to see how many 6+ things there are or if I would want to try them, that is when it'll really save you some money. Link the food plan, it's on the edge of saving money depending on how you use it.

Where did you hear or see that the coupons are good only items that cost less than $10? I didn't see that in the fine print.

I do see where it flights or beers over 6 oz. are excluded. Champagne is also not allowed.

Thanks. I'll check it out again. I saw Josh's Tweet of a photo of the Sampler disclaimer, but my old (and faulty) eyes didn't see anything about $10. I'll look further.

No, they're good for the whole festival. The published prices don't include tax, so they should be $59 plus tax and $109 plus tax.

Somebody took a picture of the back of one and it didn't say anything at all about excluding items over $10. Not so sure about that.

It excluded beer over 6 oz, tasting flights, champagne, the ARtists Palette of wine and cheese, and Kurt Russell's "Tiger" pinot noir.

They really aren't a good deal unless you use them on items over $7.75 for the 8 vouchers or $7 for the 16 vouchers. The items that cost that much are mostly mixed drinks. So if you are looking to sample a few mixed drinks, it can be a good deal. Or if you really want the pin and lanyard. Using it to buy $5 stuff won't make you your money back even taking into account the pin and lanyard.

For the trip I have planned, I can make the sampler work. I'll be with my sister, and we are staying at the Swan and planning to visit Epcot most of the 7 days we have park hopper tickets for.

I figure over the 7 days, we'll be having a couple of filet mignons, lobster rolls and lamb chops, then a bunch of drinks. The jalapeño margarita, passion fruit slushie, and frozen mojito are all calling my name.

My friend and I are getting one of the samplers to share. I was going to get a pin anyway, so that makes it a better value for us, and we're going to use it all for mixed drinks, which makes them about $6 each after taking out the cost of a pin. Over three Epcot days, spending $20 for two or three drinks a day is not a bad deal.

It may not be spelled out on the disclaimer. And I don't do Twitter. But I imagine Josh looked at the menu prices of what was included vs. excluded and just noticed that anything over $10 is excluded.
