wow!! i think that bracelet has a curse on it or something!!! Yours got lost and so did the one I brought back!!! LOL

The Snow White night was perfect!!! I LOVE the table set up with the wishing well and the whole forest theme with green leafy table cloth and flowers strewn. You did a great job!!

Yay~so glad someone actually GETS what I was going for with the decorations! And Thanks!

The food looks marvelous! We live in a German town - so we get that a lot... LOVE it... Speaking of which - we should be having our sausage supper soon...

The activities you planned were perfect, and I love how Jillian is still wearing her robe.

Oh~that's right, you DO live up there were there is a big German population! I had my first real brat while visiting Minnesota a few...(ahem, MANY ) years ago!

Don't get me started on that lovely robe. She wears that thing EVERY NIGHT...meaning every now and then when I get a whiff of it I have to remind her that it DOES need to be washed occasionally!

Hi! I've been lurking on the boards lately and found your TR. I've read the whole thing and you're doing a great job. We were at WDW the same time as you (sort of, we left on the 11th). I wanted to write a TR for it, but being that I was 6 months pg and also managing my DD and DS I wasn't able to take enough pics or write enough notes.

Anyway, wanted to also let you know that we live in TN as well. From the sound of it, you live in the middle TN area like me. I would love to know if we're neighbors. PM me if you don't mind. Maybe there's a DISmeet in the future for us?

Great TR! Can't wait for the next installment. And, by the way, I'm totally suffering from Disney deprivation. We probably won't go back until 2014. But, I hit the big 40 in March and I've dropped the hint more than once that WDW would be a great place to celebrate

Awww, thanks Rebecca! We try to have lots of fun as a family. I try to make memories for my children. I am not the perfect parent, but hopefully in the end the good will outweigh the not so good in my children's hearts and memories.

DAY 6, MARCH 12, 2012 cont.'d

When we last left off the oopsiDAISY family was leaving Dinoland without a stroller, but with a fist full of FP's...

Next on the agenda? Expedition Everest!!! Gabe was going to be brave and try this one. He was SO EXCITED about doing this for the first time! That is the one thing he talked about for months before this trip. It was finally time. Charity wasn't ready to try it, so she and I decided to go to the Boneyard Dig Site while Brian, Gabe and Jilly trekked over to EE. Apparently even the FP line for EE was kind of long. Brian texted me with occasional updates on how they were progressing in line...then I got THE text...

"Come get Gabe, he is not tall enough." So I rounded up Charity and we sprinted over as fast as we could since Jillian and Brian wouldn't be able to ride until I was there with Gabe. By the time I got there he was okay, but Brian said he had definitely cried...poor little guy! First Primeval Whirl and now this. Apparently, the CM could just slip his flattened fingers between the bar and Gabe's head. So close! For the rest of the day he reminded us that he would be seven years old next time we came, and he would get to ride it. We just waited around for Brian and Jillian to ride it then we all headed BACK to Dinoland for an encounter with some Dinosaurs...

This would be another first for us and we were all excited to try it. We got up to the walkway into it...and it was closed down temporarily. What now??? FOOD! We headed out to get some snacks for the kids. They all got a frozen lemonade and we just kind of walked around taking everything in for a few minutes. As I said earlier, we had never given this park the time and energy it deserved, so we were determined to take it all in this time...and we fell in love with it. Where before we had always just alotted half a day for AK and planned other things, we now know that it deserves an entire day with no other plans to "supplement".

Gabe ate about one eigth of his ginormous frozen lemonade and gave it to me. Those things are yummy and refreshing. We headed back over to Dinosaur to see if it was up and running again, and it was. We got up to the door with our frozen lemonades and were told we couldn't take them inside. But they were still VERY full...nope, can't take them in. We had to throw away frozen lemonades that had barely been eated from at all.

Dinosaur...we liked it. It is a very rough ride. Gabe didn't enjoy it, it scared him. He spent the entire ride with his head buried in my side. In the ride photo you couldn't even see him, it looked like an empty seat beside me. He didn't cry or freak out, just stayed hidden and informed us when we got off that he didn't like it.

After exiting Dinosaur we saw that the Nemo show would be starting soon. We had never seen this show either, so we thought why not! We got over there as quickly as possible because it really was going to start very soon. We ended up sitting in the back "bleacher" section...but that was fine with us. We ended up not caring too much for this show. It was OKAY, but our children really lost interest and Gabe ended up moving around and playing on the bleachers. This is why we were fine with being back there, we weren't a nuisance to anyone who really wanted to see it.

Leaving Nemo it was time to see some animals...after all we WERE at Animal Kingdom! We went to the Maharajah trek. We had done the Pangani Trail before, but not this one. We REALLY enjoyed this trail.

After leaving this trek the kids spotted a place to make a mess...I mean have some fun:

Do remember last week when I said I had found a new way to deal with my Disney blues??? I just went on Amazon and ordered some random Disney stuff...

I ordered the first book of the Kingdom Keepers series to give Jillian for her birthday (along with some other gifts of course), the new Unoffical Guide and a Mickey pancake mold! Buying Disney stuff makes me after suffering a terrible case of the Disney blues last week. I am sure Brian hopes the Disney blues don't happen very often.
