Food And Wine 2013 Thread

Hi,
Since the 2013 dates have been announced will you be there and what are your dates? This will our first trip since 2005 to the Food and Wine Festival. We will be there the week of Halloween. We are booked at VWL but hoping to switch to BCV or BWV if we can get the reservation.
So has a lot changed since then, we every excited to attend and looking forward to spending our evenings there except on Weekends and I have heard not so good things about so we will not be attending Friday or Saturday.
Any not to miss foods or wines that you would suggest.
Please feel free to post your dates, questions or anything else Food and Wine related.

Hope to see y'all there.

BCV 9/30-10/5/13. Can't wait!

Just read that the ending date has been extended to Monday Nov 11th

Does anyone know when the menus are traditionally released? We went in 2011, and I seem to remember seeing them fairly early on.

DH and I are going for the first time this year. Oct 24-28 staying at POFQ.

My mom and I are going October 25-November 5 and I am beyond excited. She just took a trip in January but I haven't been in eight years. I'm especially looking forward to the fact that I'm legal to drink now, have been just not during my last visit so I'm excited to try what they have tk offer at food and wine. I haven't the slightest clue what sort of food they have for that but I'm an incredibly picky eater (working on branching out but so far it's been a disaster every time) so it will be interesting. I'm looking forward to taking lots of pictures of the food and making my boyfriend who is a chef jealous. :)

We will be there this year for F&W on Oct. 20 - 26. This is our first time for this event. DH and I will be celebrating our anniversary this trip and my mom is coming so she is going to keep our dd one night so we can go out. We def. heading to Epcot that evening! ::yes::

There was a caprese salad that I just loved from the Italy kiosk in 2007. Since then...they haven't offered it. :(

We are going to our first Food and Wine Festival and we are also running our first Disney Half Marathon in the same trip. We (my wife and I) are going from Nov. 8th thru Nov. 14th. Would have stayed until Nov. 16th but I'm in a wedding that day. Don't think the bride and groom would like me missing the rehearsal. :) We are excited to try all of the different foods. We are also doing the MVMCP.

We'll be on property from Sept 25-Oct 1 (WOOT!! FREE DINING + F&W = NOM) I think we're planning to save all our snack credits until F&W starts on the 27th.

I'm also really excited to hear who will be playing at eat to the beat. Our kid won't be much for cooking demos, but music will work for all three of us.

we'll be on property from sept 25th-oct 5th -- doing 7 nights at WL (with free dining), then hopping over to to YC for 3 nights, specifically for food & wine.

:drinking1

Just booked my 1st Food & Wine trip!!!! Just me and my BFF. I actually just got back last week from a 10 night big family trip at YC (DH and my kids and BFF and her family!)....and DH's gave us the green light to book so BFF and I could go to F&W and MNSSHP (which we purchased tickets for today!!!) So excited!!! :dance3:

Welcome! :wave2: And feel free to join us over on the Wine and Dine Half thread! :cool1:

We will be there 10/31-11/11 with a Dream cruise hopefully on 11/3. Hope to do MNSSHP, MVMCP and maybe Halloween Horror Nights at Universal if we can fit it in. This will be our 10th F&W! :cool1: Looking forward to the booking info/event thread.

We will be staying at POP with free dining from 9/28-10/5. :cool1: This was a bounce back that we booked when we were there last September.

I can't wait!!!! :goodvibes

I am so waiting to hear who will be at the "Eat to the Beat" Concerts. My Park days are set so I plan on being at F&W Nov 4,6,7. so excited :cool1:

I will be at ASMovies from Oct 25 to Oct 28th. First food and wine ever. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! :cool1:

We will be at WDW for 14 days in october/november. So far I panned 3 days for the f & W festival, but now I'm hesitating. Maybe I'll cancel some ADR's.
Some advice about how many days we can just snack around F &W instead of a sit down meal?

I have never been to F&W before but I plan on grazing from lunchtime on 2 of my Epcot days. I did make dinner ADRs for around 7 but neither are CC guaranteed so if we're not feeling like we want to do a TS I can cancel. The other day is EMH(plan on arriving around 5) so dinner I think will be at the booths and I have a late ADR for after Illuminations during EMH as I understand the F&W booths close for EMH.
