Here are a couple of random questions:

1) Is the room service free and available any time of day or night? For instance, if we eat the lunch buffet, and, for some odd reason, want to order an afternoon snack, is that still possible?

2) I have seen some posts that recommend phone cards as a special "thank you" for extra magical crew members. However, I thought I saw somewhere that phone cards can't be used on the ship. Can the crew use phone cards or are they for when they port? Any other ideas for a special "thank you"?

Room service is 24 hour and is free apart from sodas and alcoholic drinks. Someone else will know if anyhting else attracts a charge. It is usual to tip 1 or 2 dollars depending on the size of the order. You can also get afternoon snacks at Scoops, Plutos and Pinocchios for much of the day (also free).

Sorry, don't know about phone cards.

aurora,

To answer your 2nd question, yes the crew uses these phone cards when they are in port, and since most of these folks are not from the USA, be sure the phone cards are international. I have also read FL. lottery tickets are used as thank yous. However, giving the lottery tickets does not guarentee a tip (the ticket may be a loser). I think they still enjoy getting them and who knows, you may make a lucky crew member a millionaire!!
