Hello.....
So we are thinking of flying down Friday night on the late flight (gets in at 1130) and staying at the orlando airport Hyatt for the night and then taking the ME over to Disney in the morning. Is that allowed? Or do i need to fly in in the morning to be able to take Magic Express? We are flying out of Boston and live about an hour from the airport - so would really rather not take an early morning flight on Saturday.

Any info is appreciated. :)

If you don't have any check in luggage for ME to pick up then there should not be a problem. Just don't use the yellow tags. Best to call ME and discuss. But to be on the safe side pick up your check in luggage yourself.
I'm sure they will let you take ME early on your check in day.

Instead of your real flight information, give them information for a random flight the next morning, you'll be all set. Just don't put your yellow tags on, like a PP said :-)

HI! :wave2: We do this almost every time we go. I don't think it's necessary to give them a random flight number... I told them we were staying near the airport and would be checking in for ME in the morning. We usually fly in later in the day and I prefer to get an early start the next day to make the most of our first "park day". :goodvibes
Have a great time!

Easily done and no fake flight info needed. Just tell the DME people what time you expect to be back at the airport in the morning.

Great, thank you all! Just booked our flight for the way down. $125 one way per ticket from Boston. Seems like a good deal.

I don't live in Boston but I do know that $250 round trip ticket is pretty good for flying anywhere lately! :cool1:

Actually, if you check out the Hyatt's website, they tell you for a small fee, they will transport your luggage to the ME area for you.

It is done all the time.

All you have to do is tell ME you are coming in the night before and what time you would like to depart to go to your resort. Don't use your yellow tags and retrieve your baggage from baggage claim.

The bus driver will load your baggage under the bus and tipping is expected; about a $1.00 a bag is standard.

You can check out all the information on the Transportation Board.

My best friend's family did that coming and going last year because the fares were so much better. She is a Marriott gold member, so she got one-night stays at a nearby Marriott, had the Marriott shuttle pick them up and take them back to the airport to catch ME the next morning, and reversed it when their trip was complete.
